HOUSTON – In a see-saw battle over the matter, a state judge in Texas has ordered the outspoken lesbian mayor of Houston along with other city officials to stop providing life and health insurance benefits to the partners of homosexual employees. .......................


All you have to do is read the constitution of the state to know the mayor has been breaking the law,” he told reporters. ““It is great to have a judge who will hold Mayor Parker accountable for trampling on the Texas Constitution and Texas Defense of Marriage Act. We will continue to oppose this Mayor every time she puts her agenda ahead of the law.”


Wow, it seems that this lesbian mayor has no regard for state let alone federal laws and the Constitution. This is the same lesbian mayor who targeted pastors and demanded copies of their sermons because they are vocal against her agenda for those living a deviant sexual lifestyle.

I wonder if restitution will be paid by the homosexuals who wrongfully benefited because of the lesbian mayor's personal agenda?

The taxpayers are entitled to restitution because they paid for insurance for which homosexual partners were not entitled.

Kudos to the judge for enforcing the law instead of going along with the progressive movement.

wait when a business breaks the law and doesn't bake a cake for homosexuals getting married they are heroes but when a mayor wants to extend benefits to to employees of her city she is disregarding the law. (BTW there is no federal law involved)

Gay marriage is not being introduced legally in most places. It needs to be legalized by the legislature, not the courts.

Well, the thing is these folks arguing for gay acceptance are not making a good argument. From what I have seen many people still see homosexuality as being immoral. Also it isn't so much that people support gay marriage as they just don't care and are tired of hearing about it. No one makes a decent argument for society to accept homosexuality as nothing more than perverted behavior so why should society or our government see it any other way?.

Except that Texas is the one in violation of the constitution.

DOMA was ruled unconstitutional on a federal level, meaning that Texas own version is also unconstitutional because it does not adhere to the federal constitution.
