I'm no fan of Hillary, but thats not a terribly demanding rider. For a speaking event, water, lemon and coffee? No biggie. I've dealt with a lot worse from people who weren't on her level. Dueling piano players who demanded a very specific piano that needed to be shipped to the event, instead of renting one locally. &$*#()@) absurd. The rider is mostly designed to be absurd to see if your "host" is paying attention to details. That's partly why they do it. Yes, some are truly insane and get pissed if they don't have a particular candy or soda or even number of items arranged in a specific way. Many are OCD and get freaked out before a show if particular events in sequence don't happen. X number of waters stacked properly can spook them, much like athletes who don't shave, wear the same shorts, ect. I can't personally understand it, because I'm not an insane person, but its indeed a sickness. And many powerful or famous people are &$*(#(()@@ nuts. You think Steve Jobs wore turtle necks just because he liked the style? hehe.....nope! Look at tennis players when they're warming up. Their rituals are crazy.
