Effin' brilliant. But first, before attacking refs, they would strong arm and rob food and drink vendors in the stands to show true solidarity.

Let's just dismiss every civil suit brought against a business, non-civil disobedience releated fire, wind/storm loss that businesses suffer then, shall we? Since, you know, insurance covers all that too. Those folks who shirked buying insurance will lose their livlihoods because they failed to be reliably protected - regardless of the cause of loss.

They are idiots if they didn't have it, and that's the end of the story.

    It's not thin at all.

You're either engaged in acts of rioting and violence.

    OR

    You're not.

If you're going to insist that Wilson was justified in what he did because evidence, you can't just decide NOT to use evidence later on unless you're telling people that evidence only matters when it supports your opinion.

And for the record, I agree that Wilson appears to have been justified based on the evidence at hand. But it doesn't mean I can just assume anyone who disagrees must be engaging in or condoning riots unless I have evidence that those specific people actually were.

OK, so what did devestated buisness have to do with NFL players raising their hands in support of the protestors?

There are college graduates and then there are college graduates who are athletes. Not always the same thing...

And much like with terrorism, when you assume everyone is a terrorist without evidence, you're doing the exact same thing that I described.

But you seem pretty invested in being intellectually lazy so I'll just let you continue on with that. You might as well tell me that you're psychic and you just "know" who the bad guys are, it leaves you with the same amount of credibility.

Those photos were taken right after the blows landed. Bruises don't show up until the next day.

I totally agree because some people look up to these athletes as role models and if THEY do this, then it must be true.

Yea, I know. I read it like ballantine is talking about protesters. Protestors have not devestated anyone's buisness.

Sure. Some are brown, some are Asian/yellow,some are white, and some are of various mixtures.

The important FACT is that blacks are roughly 13 percent of the US population, and commite 80+ percent of the violent crimes.

Some people are going to have to sadly experience the element of fear before they are ever going to understand the feelings that go along with fearing for your life. If some people would be cool with a 6'6 300 pound 18 year old man reaching into their car and grabbing their gun, it must be that awesome to be so calm and collected and void of normal human feelings. Most people don't have the mentality where they say, well if I feel my orbital bone break, if I am capable, I may try to spare my life.

He was beaten, he was struck repeatedly as the pictures show. That is a FACT as much as you want to deny it.

Yes it seems through out our society blacks are by far more apt to show a disrespect of the law and for others and become violent so what is your point here. And no you can't get charged with a crime for simply verbalizing.

The rift is caused by blacks committing a highly disproportionate amount of crime especially violent crime and resisting and fighting with police and a general disrespect for the law. Just look at how the community behaved even before the grand jury and now afterwards.

The Brown incident is not about the cops behavior it is about Brown's behavior which is so typical of young black males and THAT is what needs to be addressed.

They don't have execution rights so get your facts straight. What we hire them to do, what we pay them do to is arrest criminals and keep the peace and sometimes that involves dealing with violent thugs and even comes to the point as in this case of using lethal force against them. There is no benefit of doubt here, the evidence proved Brown was a violent thug who brought about his own demise.

So let's concentrate on black crime and the violence young black males exhibit on a daily basis and what we are going to do about it and then we won't to worry so much about the police interactions they bring upon themselves and the police can do more community service and not have to worry about whether they will be alive at the end of their shift.

I have been beat up many times, I have never once shot anyone. I can see the argument for being in fear of your life from a guy that big. I often use Mike Tyson as an example when discussion fear of life issues. Mike once got road rage and went back to the car behind him and slugged the guy or threatened to. It doesnt matter if Mike was armed or not, any reasonable person in the world would have been in fear of his life when the big guy started squeaking obscenties and walking toward your car. Personally I would be out of ammo before he got to me. I tryly believe hte grand jury did its job faithfully and there is not enough evidence to try the officer for killing him. I also believe if there was not a long standing problem with black poverty in America and our whole nation was we, instead of us and them, none of us would have ever heard of this story.

Thanks for agreeing with me. The protestors give the rioters cover and support, and by doing so they are engaged in the rioting and the violence.

I don't understand how so many people can be so stupid and/or corrupt. It's mind boggling. The rioters riot because they are encouraged by media personalities and government officials who also justify Michael Browns violent criminal conduct. Maybe it is time to play hard with this smelly troupe.

The team had been requesting increased security from the police after the Ferguson decision, and now they turn around and call the police murderers.

Just the kind of hypocrisy we can expect from progressive minded people.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.... it's the story that is purposely glossed over by race-baiters in this story, and in the Trayvon Martin situation.

"unarmed black teen shot....." you can kill people with your fists.... just because a 28 y.o. man got his ass kicked by a 17 yo half his size and maybe he shouldn't have.... doesn't change the fact that he was in a very dangerous sitatuion where people have been killed due to brain trauma. Full mount is the most dangerous position in the world to be in.

same with Fergusson.... Brown being unarmed is not important. If he's going for your gun, a cop has to assume he's not going for it so he can trade it in for Toys for guns... he has to assume he's trying to take your gun so he can shoot him with it.

Coupled with the Brown's size.... and the fact that there is photographic proof that the officer had been hit in the face..... if Mike brown backs off me, but I think he's coming in for round 2 of whipping my ass.... every cop in America will shoot him dead....

Our Second Amendment clearly declares what is necessary to the security of a free State.

(Standing) regular forces for our wars on crime, drugs, poverty, and terror are what our Founding Fathers warned us against.

Would this dilemma occur, if local militia had been called up (from the very neighborhoods with the most problems) and been enlisted in the Cause of ensuring the domestic tranquility of the City as an Organ of the State.

Could it have been, that there would have been greater cooperation in case of natural disasters.
