This morning Joe Scarborough spoke very strongly against liberals, media, and black Americans on their decision to support Michael Brown. To anyone who still supports Michael Brown, how do you react to his words?
He makes a lot of sense to me. Just how far left have you gone if you outflank MSNBC?

I had a member on this forum say " it doesn't matter that it didn't happen that way , its the symbol "

Double face palm. The world is really getting stupid, its what happens when your poor lazy class grows like a cancer.

And, there ya have it. The truth doesn't matter.

Seems to me, it is much the way lib/progs/statists approach things.

Joe has been getting accused a lot lately of wandering too far to the left so I think this is an attempt to fix his reputation. He has been known as the only somewhat non-liberal on that channel and I don't think he wants to be grouped in with the rest of them while that ship is sinking.

He is basically putting a life vest on.

An interesting existential analysis but do you have anything to offer up about the susbtance of his rant?

FYI there is a lot more to this but there aren't any full versions up yet on youtube.

Same thing conservative outlets have been saying for weeks now. He is a bit slow to pick it up.

Good for Joe. I saw him on Meet the Press a couple of weeks ago and was surprised how he's seemingly come back from the brink of MSNBC madness.

Who was the grey haired guy early on in that video with the tan suit? Give him a show! I agree with him, except George Zimmerman was not a thug, I mean seriously, if Mike Brown was a thug, and he was, no way is George and his argument was ask the woman who lived with him, yes, because ex's usually have nice things to say and are not vindictive. If he had a pic of George throwing up a gang sign, I would agree, but I agree with him on everything else.

Keep your eye on the bigger picture, O. The point was this thing has taken on a life of its own, it's no longer about Michael Brown.

It was never about Michael Brown, or it never should have been.

There is a serious problem in this country with the police and how they use force.

It shouldn't even be a political issue.

When the liberal media completely destroys the credibility of the police, who do you honestly think will suffer the most? Certainly not the criminals.

Thanks Joe. I quit watching MSNBC a few years ago because I knew they were liberal but also because I felt Joe had gone over to their side. It disturbed me that he said he had been sitting there for weeks and kept his mouth shut. Has he been muzzled or threatened?

I think Joe's positions are determined by who is paying him. He's changed about every position he had from his Congressman days in order to keep his MSNBC job, and it's worked. But I'm wondering now if he sees MSNBC as a sinking ship. Maybe he has a book in development. I would love to know some of he behind the scenes hijinks that lead to that channel going down the toilet.

This is a terrible joke if meant as a joke.
It's a terrible lie if meant as the truth.
But as a deluded bit of craziness, it's perfect.

I have no use for the man as apparently he's got little use for the concept of integrity; being as he frequently leans so far Left for his weekly paycheck that he gives new meaning to the term RINO. Still, wouldn't it be a hoot if he got a show on Fox News and then brought on board Mica as his token leftwing sidekick?

I have no doubt he would love to move to Fox if he could. They can afford to pay more. But I don't think there would be much of a market for him.

The poor fool loses credibility when he says Zimm chased Trayvon, but that said, he's right about the Brown thing.

And there are plenty of cases that people can be disgusted with. Why did the media and "activists" rally around this one??

    - - - Updated - - -

If looks could kill he would have been done at the start of the show... She HATES it when anything goes off script.

To much truth and he would have been called racist....

Yeah he supped deeply of the ideologically-fermented leftwing kool aid where Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman are concerned but in regards to Brown and Wilson he kicks over his MSNBC traces and tells the freaking truth for once. Still that hardly makes up for the other 364 days of the year in which he is the worst possible example of a RINO.

Oh yeah, Mica got her thong in a wad over Joe's off script 'come to Jesus' moment between himself and the Chris Matthews style race-hustlers. But still an all, where is Joe going to go. Would any real news organization have him after he spent all those years being a good little RINO shill for MSNBC? I jested that Fox News would have him . . . but truth to tell, other than jabbing another finger in MSNBC's eye, what would be the point in doing that? He's beyond tainted.

The only way Joe could truly redeem himself would be to kick Al Sharpton in the nads.

I am not sure that Sharpton has any.

I've heard the same thing said on TV. It's ridiculous.

They know Brown was in the wrong, they just can't let it go because they think if they correct themselves, they'll look stupid for crying out against Wilson in the first place.
What they don't realize is how much stupider they look for continuing the whining.

Morning Joe is the only halfway decent show on MSNBC. The rest of it is complete trash probably scripted by Debbie Wasserman Schultz herself. Scarborough used to be more conservative though, but all those years on MSNBC cozying up to Manhattan's elite will change you.
