Army of Novorossia has closed the cauldron in the area of Debaltsevo.

The last few days were fierce battles in the north of so-called Debaltsevo pocket with the purpose to surround the big group of Ukrainian forces. This day the militia of DPR have managed to take under the control the town of Uglegorsk having met with militia of LPR who makes the offensive in the counter direction, thereby having closed the "cauldron" in the area of Debaltsevo. So they have surrounded about 8 thousands Ukrainian militarians.

" The joint action of DPR and LPR militia almost completed the encirclement of Debaltsevo group of Ukrainian forces," said the representative of Staff of DPR militia Edward Basurin. Earlier, the head of DPR Alexander Zakharchenko urged the Ukrainian militarians to hand over their weapons in exchange for the promise to keep them alive.

"We can not say that we are fully have closed all roads in the" cauldron ". However, DPR and LPR units are in the direct visibility from each other, their artillery fire can block the road "- said Basurin.

The cryptogram was sent from SBU Office in Donetsk region to Kiev and Kramatorsk. The network also released a list of media publications, accusing independence supporters of shelling the bus."

This is what USA and EU are wanting, but Putin is a shrewd man. He does not, as soon as DPR does it well. I hope more victories over Kiev junta are to come. Novorussia needs all the land to get connected with Crimea.

 

But what after? Russia needs Kiev to be either a failed state or a Russian puppet. How does it accomplish this without absorbing the problems of Kiev? It's one thing to deny access to the Donbas and Mariupol. Another thing to absorb those areas, but a third thing entirely to deny Washington DC access to Kiev.

 

I dont believe that Russia wants the Ukraine. What they want is for it not to be a NATO country and act as a buffer zone against the aggressiveness of the western encirclement.
