I suppose it's the platitudes that I dislike, such as 'Obama won't say terrorist,' because that takes away from the more specific debate about each potential threat and how each should be mitigated.

 

The only time he uses the word terrorist is when his staff informs him too. He doesn't really mean it as our leader. If he did he would see that ISIS is nothing but terrorist. Your nitwit leader is nothing but a coward...and hes on their side.

The only reason Obama is doing as little as possible to counter ISIS is because of the furious public response to the beheadings of James Foley and Steven Sotloff. The leadership in this fight clearly has to come from the American people because it sure as hell isn't coming from the White House.

Funny, the same liberals who are bashing FOX for telling the truth are the same ones defending the president who holds the liar of the year award. Oh well, I guess it makes sense to them.

 

It's not the matter of "the truth". Fox did not tell the story because other outlets did not. It's the fact that not only is it in poor taste to show the visuals in order to sensationalize a horrific event, it's giving the very terrorist group that perpetrated the crime air time and publicity, which actually helps their recruitment and propaganda efforts.

Like other jihadist execution videos, it's brutal to watch, but I was surprised at the sophistication of the production. I think the whole thing runs around 20 minutes...

 

People know the truth; we're not stupid. We don't need the graphics to understand what those savages are capable of. Maybe Fox viewers really do lack any imagination and need to be shown what a man burning to death looks like...
There's no need for this from Fox; it's no less than cynical sensationalism for the masses.
