I don't know your opinion on affirmative action on a race and gender basis, but most on the left are fully for both. If you're opposed to LBGT special privileges, what is your stance on affirmative action as a whole?

I provided you with extensive information on the merits of allowing gay people to marry and adopt for the benefit of the children, if for no other reason.

I pointed out that gay people, married or not and whether you like it or not already have children in their care and that marriage and adoption can benefit those children.

Furthermore, many heterosexual people/couples do not have children “the natural way “ and we don’t discriminate against them by denying them the right to marry and adopt-do we?
Every human being has the right to have a child and every child conceived, by any means is equal to other children. Children of gay people and couples do just as well as other children and there is no reason for gay people not to have children. I demonstrated all of this/

Now, I am a very calm and polite person, and I shown that. However, even if my English is not so perfect, I want to be clear. I feel a deep sense of respect toward anybody personality and ideas, differently from you who is talking to me in a way that I don't like and that I will not permit you to use with me.
If believing in some traditional values is bigotry, I am bigot, and I take that as a compliment, because it is much better be as I am, than not being a hippy without any sense of family and of commitment.
You didn't answer my question in a way I consider satisfactory, actually you didn't answer it at all.
The heterosexuals couples who don't have children potentially may have them, but for some unfortunate reasons they cannot actually(If you don't know the difference between potentiality and act read Aristotle). Homosexual couples cannot have children, in the natural way, even potentially. By giving children to homosexuals you are forcing the nature. This is the evidence.
I am certain that if you will speak to me again, you will be polite and respectful or it will be a very unpleasant talk for us both.

Men aren't the ones that get pregnant. That isn't how it works. Surely you know this.

Women can get pregnant men cannot. I don't think orientation is relevant.

I don't think homosexual means sterile. Homosexuals being that they are the same species can have children naturally the same way anybody else can. The biology works regardless of the orientation of the person involved.

Women can get pregnant if they have an intercourse with a man. If they have sex with women they will not get pregnant.

To be honest, I am not a very calm person, and when it comes to the issue of children I am not very polite either. You can have your “traditional values” but don’t think that you can impose those values on other, especially when doing so is demonstratively harmful. You cannot deny rights to others based on your appeal to tradition while ignoring the hard facts.
Giving children to homosexuals is forcing the nature.? More equine excrement. They HAVE children. No, I cannot respect your views when it is clear that you ignore reality and chose to wallow in ignorance. There is nothing more that I can do to help you.

I'm not talking about sterility or fertility. Of course, homosexuals are not sterile, but in order to have children they should have sex with people of the opposite sex, and they don't. Thus, homosexuals can't have children.

They don't have to have sex with anybody. They can get artificially inseminated.

Are you saying that the moment a gay person has sex with somebody of the opposite sex in order to procreate that they aren't gay any more?

This is an insane statement....here is the thing.
1. If the government is blocking people from getting married then government IS REGULATING.
2. Marriage is more than children and always has been or sterile or elderly people couldn't get married.
3. We have a Constitution that always strives for rights of the people, there is no Constitutional argument to deny same-sex couples marriage.
4. Many religious groups support same-sex marriage and bless them. So how does the government have the right to deny that?

You aren't making a whole lot of sense.

When homosexuals what to procreate they do it exactly how anybody else does.

If I wanted your help, I would have asked.
Actually, I don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) if you are not calm or polite, when you talk with me you are. I expressed my ideas and I defended them. You are the one that wants to impose his view, after having seen that all your insignificant data and ideas aren't supporting your theory. I'll repeat it again, you didn't answer my question.
I'd like to whish you a good day, but I wouldn't be honest.

Artificial insemination, which, by the way, work only for women and not for men, is not exactly natural, for how effective it is.
And I didn't see a lot of gay people having sex with somebody of the opposite sex, and if they do just for procreate, this is certainly one thing to proud of.

- - - Updated - - -

I'm afraid I'm missing some parts. Why don't you explain to me how a gay man can procreate a child with his partner?

Appeals to nature are fallacious.
Some do. So apparently you aren't looking very hard.

They would hire a surrogate and inseminate her.

Perhaps you don't know that usually, heterosexual people don't hire surrogates and inseminate them. You know, it works a little bit different. So, please, don't say that gay has children in the same way of heterosexuals.
And, actually, I'd be find it very sad and depressing if I needed to hire a surrogate to leave progeny.

Why are homosexuals people supporting their right to have children? Would you please be so polite as to give me a reason for that?

It is exactly what I wanted to hear.
Homosexuals believe that is their right to have children, no matter if this is harmful for the babies, which they treat as a way to be more integrated in the society, but they don't care at all for the well-being of the babies. And you can tell me that actually their parenting doesn't result in a damage for the children, but I think that letting babies be grown by some animals who think like that is certainly not a moral and social conquest of our society.

If there was the slightest evidence that the child's well betting was in jeopardy because both of its parents were one sex or the other, your argument would have some validity.

Not because they are both the same sex.

You are allowed to think what you wish, I'm not really bothered by it.

So I assume, by what you are saying, that the gay community leaders, when the same-sex couples adoptions were proposed for the first time, knew, for sure, without any doubts, and according to the opinion of several experts, that this kind of measure wouldn't have, in any possible way, damaged the children.
If that was the case, I may even agree with you, but it wasn't the case. The homosexuals leaders were just thinking to a political way to get more integrated in the society and they started to campaign for gay right to have babies, like if babies were little poppets to have and use in the way they were more useful for gay community.
And I knew that probably this would not have bothered you. After all, some egoistic and valueless people like gay are don't get bothered by many things.

It really hasn't ever been illegal for a person to adopt a child be they married or other wise. I don't think any experts were asked in regards.

I'm sorry you only wish to see politics. But it was never a requirement that people be heterosexual or married to adopt children do your political pandering is without teeth.
Funny, in this regard I hold the moral high ground.

In Europe, no state before 2000 legalized the same-sex couples adoptions, which were considered not to be legal. And acutally, people are required, in the most state of European Union, to be married to adopt children.

There were an estimated 300,000 to 500,000 gay and lesbian biological parents in 1976. In 1990, an estimated 6 to 14 million children have gay or lesbian parents.
Latest statistics from the U.S. Census 2000, the National Survey of Family Growth (2002), and the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (2004) include:
• An estimated two million GLB people are interested in adopting.
• An estimated 65,500 adopted children are living with a lesbian or gay parent.
• More than 16,000 adopted children are living with lesbian and gay parents in California, the highest number among the states.
• Gay and lesbian parents are raising four percent of all adopted children in the United States.
• Adopted children with same-sex parents are younger and more likely to be foreign born.
http://adoption.about.com/od/gaylesbian/f/gayparents.htm

In addition, adoption is legal is 49 states. Generally, acceptance of gay and lesbian adoption has been way out in front of same sex marriage. In some states, it has been occurring for decades.

Given these numbers, please answer the following questions:
1. If children who are in the care of gay people are at risk of abuse or having developmental/ adjustment issues why have the states been allowing this for so long?
2. If mistreatment of children by gays was prevalent, why are we not hearing horror stories and seeing headlines about this on a regular basis ?
3. Why have we not been seeing large numbers of adults who had been children of gays coming forward to speak out against gay parenting?
Claims that gay parenting is harmful to children are bogus and stupid.

For many, LGBT adoption is still a new concept, and society’s image of a “perfect” family includes a mother and a father of opposite sexes. However, this is a just a stereotype. Today, more and more gay and lesbian couples are becoming parents, whether through artificial insemination, a surrogate or LGBT adoption. LifeLong Adoptions caters to heterosexual couples, single parents and gay & lesbian families. http://www.lifelongadoptions.com/lgbt-adoption/lgbt-adoption-facts

The push against gay, lesbian, and same-sex couple adoption is more about gay discrimination than child welfare. So, before you buy into the myths and rhetoric that gay adoption poses an unsafe environment for children or that a gay household is a "recruitment center" for young adults, the facts those against same-sex adoption aren't telling you:
• There are already thousands of children living in gay couple households. The 2000 U. S. Census reports 33% of female same-sex couple households and 22% of male same-sex couple households already have at least one child under the age of 18 living at home.

http://gaylife.about.com/od/gayparentingadoption/a/gayadoptionstat.htm

In 2008 there were 129,000 children waiting to be adopted, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reported. In 2007, the Urban Institute reported that two million gay or lesbian individuals said they had considered adoption. A hotly debated issue in the United States is whether or not those two million interested individuals should be able to adopt the children in need. There is currently no federal law that explicitly bans or allows gays and lesbians to adopt; the decision is left up to each state.
