For the last two months I've been trying something new to benefit my digestive health. I take two tablespoons of Raw organic Apple Cider vinegar (with the mother in it) and dilute it into one cup of water. I drink this concoction at least once a day, sometimes twice if my stomach is acting up, and the indigestion and pain are almost immediately gone. I've lost a good two inches of belly fat and lost about 10 pounds, overall. I no longer suffer the daily weed hangover Ive grown accustomed to for years. My digestion is happening faster, and my energy is through the roof! They say your blood benefits from being alkalized by the vinegar. It must be true. I feel purified. I feel like a million bux! Lactic acid doesn't stand a chance in my body, since ive started using this stuff. Why does this simple product work so well? Better yet, why doesn't Big Medicine want us to know about it?
No, I'm just kidding. My parents drink apple cider vinegar too. They like it. I however never acquired the taste for it.
Good for carpet stains too. Just sprinkle a bit on the stain, leave it for a few minutes, get a damp rag and tamp the stained area and bingo, all gone. Don't know if it works for red wine, I hope I never have to report on it. Hey maybe we could all benefit from dropping some of the proprietary products and use old fashioned approaches? Cheaper too eh? I'll give the apple cider drink a go as well and see how it works out.
Vinegar is one of the miracles of nature. I use Apple cider vinegar and or baking soda to help maintain an alkaline blood profile. I also us apple cider vinegar on my young chicks water instead of medicated feed to prevent Coccidiosis. Then there is the distilled version, white vinegar that I use as a fabric softener and cleaning agent.
Here is a book on the glories of Apple Cider Vinegar. http://www.amazon.com/Folk-Medicine-Vermont-Doctors-Health/dp/0030274109/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1425094894&sr=8-2&keywords=vermont+folk+remedies I have a copy. BTW, contrary to popular belief about Alkalizing, YOU NEED ACID. Vinegar. Acetic Acid. Bad Microbes don't like acid. Ladies, chime in on the glories of a good vinegar Vaginal flush. A good population of acidophiles in the gut or vagina does a nice job supplying acids too. Moi r > g View attachment 33881
I use organic raw Apple Cider vinegar. The label says "with the mother", which means, it has the enzymes left in it, as opposed to white and other distilled vinegars commonly used on foods like subs and salads in which the more beneficial enzymes are stripped out. - - - Updated - - - We tried it on our kitchen and bathroom surfaces, and it works like a miracle for that too.
I kept looking for a worm, like in a bottle of Tequila I've got to try that, my health nut brother goes crazy over it, so I thought it couldn't possibly work but the entire Net can't be wrong.
I kept looking for a worm, like in a bottle of Tequila I've got to try that, my health nut brother goes crazy over it, so I thought it couldn't possibly work but the entire Net can't be wrong, can it? OTOH I know that Apple Cider makes me sick, so maybe I should read up on how this is supposed to work for diabetics
This isn't a secret and it isn't a miracle. Weight loss is not great and it may effect blood sugar but it could be a negative reaction. The mother is a glob of cellulose and bacteria that breaks the alcohol down to acetic acid. It is what makes vinegar vinegar. It is nasty looking.
That would be true but for some reason vinegar reacts within the digestive system and somehow promotes an alkaline blood profile. Lo be it for me to try and explain this as I am not the creator.
Is there a source of that as it doesn't compute. First, how does vinegar effect calcium in the blood? Second, calcium isn't acidic so how does it's removal result in a alkaline profile?
You cannot do much of anything that will change your body's pH. You are just changing your waste which should have a alkaline profile to begin with.
I respectfully have to disagree with that. I can order a blood profile test with a panel to determine the pH. If pH is too acidic, then can adjust using natural methods, vinegar being one.
Your explanation makes no sense at all scientifically. Vinegar is acidic. There is no way that vinegar's acid will eliminate lactic acid. That said, it may work to help you lose weight, etc., just not based on the pseudoscience of alkalinization. (to get alkalinization, you would need to eat baking soda, not drink vinegar). Edit: My bet is that your improvement is from the probiotics in the "mother."
Sounds like what is happening with your stomach is not from "alkalinization" but from putting better microbes (aka probiotics) into your stomach..
Seemed to work pretty well for a whole lot of years as a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*), why not as a colon cleanser?
