Actually, it's 3/4 of the states:

The Congress, whenever two-thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this constitution, or on the application of the legislatures of two-thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which , in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three-fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress: Provided, that no amendment which may be made prior to the year 1808, shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate. U.S. Constitution, Article V

It's 2/3 of congress or the states to propose an amendment, but ratification requires 3/4. I have always found it better to actually read the document before I attempt to paraphrase it....

And if you want to get to that 3/4 number, then you better have arguments more convincing than all gun owners are criminals, or, when I ask you to explain it, to argue that I am somehow "basically knowingly handing my gun over to a criminal to commit crimes....."

By the way I asked you to explain that last one. I know you don't have to answer me, but could you at least show me the courtesy of letting me know whether you will or not?

I and millions of others have, too, sold lots of guns to people without even asking their names, much less an ID. It was completely commonplace to do so a mere decade ago. It still is, if the gun in question is/was not one that you showed an ID to obtain, Or at least, not a REAL ID. :)

Since the right prefers to "harass a Judge" more than Indulge the Curiosity of the Court (regarding social justice), it is up to the left, like usual, to bail out capitalism with sufficient socialism to promote the general welfare of the United States.

Why do some Persons in our Republic prefer to imitate Vandals than be True Patriots to our glorious Republic.

We believe in individual rights over socialist efforts. The bill of rights guarantees our individual rights.

Firearms are an integral part of the history of freedom in this country.

why should the left feel any need to Impugn the elected representatives of gun lovers, instead of gun lovers themselves?
