I just think that there is going to be too much heat for the Clinton Machine to handle. We are seeing this almost daily now in the news and it's only going to get worse and rightfully so. There are too many Far Left whack jobs, e.g, Elizabeth Warren, who obviously despise Hillary as too centrist and whom are alienated from the Clinton insiders who are directing the campaign.

That's my prediction folks. The Libs will eat their own.

Hillary will not step down on her own, it will have to be the Democrats that force her to. Right now I do not see it. She is the choice of roughly 62% of all Democrats for the nomination. Although that figure is a couple of days old and no new polls are available after this bomb shell.

Hillary is probably the easiest nominee for the Republicans to beat. She is a known commodity and her favor/unfavorable ratings is 47% favorable 47% unfavorable. She is also weak among independents. Her getting out either on her own or forced I think would be a case of being careful what you wish for, you might get it.

Any Democrat left after her departure would be political flotsam.

I think it is and I also think history has shown votes and favorable ratings come real close. Look at 2012 Obama had a favorable rating of 52% and received 51% of the vote. Romney was at 46% and received 47% of the vote.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

No going back now. She'd be a laughing stock, and she's too prideful and arrogant to go out that way.

    - - - Updated - - -

Dems are going to be less excited about voting for a 67 year old white women than they were with a 40 something black man.

But it may not be of her own accord. Sow enough dissent and they may not nominate her.

History has shown regardless of who the candidate is, those who identify or affiliate with a political vote 90% plus for their parties candidate. Where it might make a difference is among independents where Hillary is weak.

Hillary Clinton's candidacy is an interesting phenomenon. She represents the Republicans best chance to actually win an non-incumbent election outright for the first time since George H.W. Bush defeated Michael Dukakis in 1988. She also represents the Democrats' best chance to hold on to the White House for another 4 years, at least. Her candidacy is probably the most interesting one we've had in quite some time.

Here we see the basic difference between the Republicans and the Democrats. The Democrats are, first and foremost, POLITICIANS. Politicians are practical people not wedded unswervingly to any principle except one, winning, for, in the end, only the winner makes a difference, no matter what ideology he holds or how fanatically he holds it.

Republicans are, first and foremost IDEOLOGUES, their approach to politics is religious. If they lose, they do so gladly, like all martyrs. This is why they will lose in 2016, they will immolate themselves on the altar of their own fanatical conservatism.

Hillary used to be a die hard republican before she met Bill, so many see her as to far center, but we will also have a republican Congress, so that may play well to getting stuff done too

We can only hope she drops out if the Democratic Party and Voters are bent on electing her. I don't think the Democrats have a chance unless they run and support a more "moderate" democrat. Not even the women Dems I know say they would vote for her and while I am all for electing a Woman; I definitely don't think she should be the first Woman to represent us.

We need to elect a Moderate leaning and IMO a more Libertarian President. Electing another radical Liberal or radical Conservative will bring more of the same inability of our Government to reform programs, budgets, return Constitutional power to the States and the People and IMO, most importantly, our civil rights granted us by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Over incarceration for financial reasons including paying "private prison Corporations" that have no incentive to rehabilitate or discharge inmates; only being paid to keep the prisons at full capacity, is costing tax payers Billions per year and not benefiting Society at all. There is corruption from Municipal Courts to Appeals Courts and no apparent means of stopping it unless you have unlimited dollars to do so.

The President, while a majority of non-violent inmates are Black has chosen to do nothing regarding prisons other than letting terrorists go free from Gitmo. The subject of private prisons and over-incarceration not even on his agenda. Yet African Americans in vast numbers still support him and the Socialist/Communist advisors that surround him. Sad but true. He has done absolutely nothing for African Americans or the poor he continually claims to support. Take a step back and survey what he has done in their behalf. More employed with jobs that pay enough to pay living expenses? NO. I am at a lost to come up with anything.

I think you're confusing "we owe the Clintons" with "we want to win." Hillary's voice is like nails on a chalk board on a good day. I think she would need to run one of those barely present ghost campaigns to avoid embarrassing herself and she lost that kind of position with the emails and foundation money stories.

You have a wrong perception of what the Gov't is for. They owe you nothing. They are not required to give you a job or make you happy. The Gov't should not be an employment agency. That line of thinking has us in the mess we're in today.

I agree. But apparently and the Dems don't agree with you. You are preaching to the choir.

It really doesn't matter who the American people elect president. The country is becoming more partisan and more divided and the influence of money on politics is only increasing. The fact that both parties agree that tax reform is necessary for continued improvement in our economy and yet no significant reform has happened or will ever happen is clear proof that the country is permanently gridlocked.

Hillary is a red herring sent as a distraction while they groom the real candidate. Just watch, she's out there taking all the heat from the GOP, all the candidates are sitting there gearing up for a fight against her, all the attack adds are already being filmed and produced against her, and when the real candidate is chosen, all that GOP money will have gone to waste.

    It's a good tactic.

just my 2 cents worth but I think the Clinton's greed will keep her in the race if nothing else. The much touted blue wall of electoral votes the Dims are so proud of will give them hope, even if it is a false one. I don't see many if any swing states going her way though. GOP should have this election in the bag

She's definitely less liberal than Obama. She's also got more ba(@s than him too. Some say she might try and flex her muscles to the world, as a woman, and dip into warmongering.
