Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson are the most recent >>>MOD EDIT<<<RULE 3 to throw their pointy-hats into the ring.

Just like the GOP’s 2012 Presidential campaign fiasco, beginning the personal attacks on each other so early will offer more than ample time to thoroughly thin the field. Maybe eliminate it completely.

With nothing but the same stale polices that have failed the country for the past four decades, the Republican/Teapublican mudslinging will be thick and dirty.

In addition to lobbing their own barbs at each other, the main opponents in the fight for nomination also have the conservative/neoconservative loonies shouting their nonsense from the sidelines.

As the coming months of infighting goes on, the skeletons in the Republican and Teapublican closets will be falling out and stacking up like chord wood.

I'm so glad the left has a Republican woman to crucify now. Maybe they'll ease up on the brown skinned candidate.

They just do not like Carson because he is black.

They are all a bunch of bigots.

Ben Carson? You call a guy who developed an advanced medical procedure whereby conjoined twins can be safely separated, "a clown?"

This is why the Left has no credibility left.

You should pray that one day you accomplish a fraction of what Carson has.

Name 3 things wrong with John Kasich. I'm waiting.

I'll give you one for free, his stance on marijuana.

    Go ahead.

Right. I wouldn't question the medical science Ben Carson may know. But his views on politics are often extremely ludicrous.

With all due respect, I hope the best candidate wins.

Dr. Carson is a fine man and a brilliant and accomplished man. But as a politician he's a neophyte.

A little roughening up is expected and will do him a great deal of good so that if/when he runs again he will be more adept at dealing with the challenges any successful would-be POTUS would have to deal with.

I greatly admire him and if somehow he were to win the GOP 2016 nomination I'd be happy to vote for him.

We all know BHO wasn't really well prepared for the job in 2008, but he slithered in anyway.

I want the GOP guy or gal to be truly ready for the job and not just able to win the job, a la BHO. For HIS sake and for the sake of the country. Secondarily, I don't want to give the Left any reason to think in any subsequent elections they can traipse just any old person who LOOKS good onto the campaign trail and say, "Carson did it, so why can't we have a political newb run too?" Nevermind that Obama started the precedent.

Dr. Carson will be a much better qualified and viable.candidate after the 2016 campaign.

    :)

As I said, this is one of the reasons why the Left have lost all credibility. Instead of calling Carson a clown, it would be wise to point out what you do not like about him - while acknowledging that he's brighter that most of us can ever hope to be.

Carson's personal accomplishments trump BHO's qualifications when he ran in 2008.

Dr. Carson was born and raised in America.

He suffered through America's growing pains in the 60's and afterwards and he knows the Black struggles first hand.

    He loves America.

He accomplished great things and excelled at them over the accomplishments of any of his peers.

He is decent and has integrity.

He is humble and well, but plain, spoken.

He assembled and led teams of top medical professionals on a daily basis as a part of his daily responsibilities.

He is globally known and respected.

And when he had the opportunity he spoke truth to power. Something few, if any, of the current legions in the D.C. Beltway have been willing to do.

He may not have the political experience Obama had in 2008 (BHO was only a Senator for a year or two when he declared) but BHO's experience was the dirty, Chicago, Alinsky dishonest kind of experience.

I'd say BHO is your (*)(*)(*)(*)ing clown.

IMO the Reps having plenty of qualified candidates to choose from is a hell of a lot better than what the Dems currently are bringing to the table.

In his academic field, President Obama was/is quite accomplished.

So was President Obama, even raised in a multicultural family environment. Considering the makeup of this society, that's a very good start.

President Obama didn't grow up "Black", in America AS AN AMERICAN?!! (Yeah, it is a fact that he did.)

    So does President Obama.

Academically and obviously professionally, we realize that Barack Obama did as well. In fact he graduated with TOP HONORS at the head of his class.

    Obama... dittos!!

And that is a set of qualities which the President displays as frequently and readily, as anyone I've seen in the public eye.

President Obama has managed to lead the largest military in the word for year. (BTW, being a community organizer isn't easy either.)

Another accomplishment matched by President Obama... and in a more relevant light, Hilary Clinton.

Considering the nearly 'unprecedented' opposition and 'obstruction' President Obama has faced from Republicans... he has done that daily since taking office. A real fighter... if there ever was one.

Actually, he DOESN'T have any of the political experience of Barack Obama. Not a deal breaker, but significant in my view.

    So you say.

Actually, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama has been President of the United States, since 2008.

I'd say that is a significant accomplishment in/of itself. :)

In real life he has shown he couldn't find his own ass with both hands, a road map, a GPS unit and a tour guide.

Well, you didn't prove that. So, I guess it's just your opinion. And that's fine... it's what we're all sharing here anyhow.

So how would you know this? Have you seen his transcripts? Neither has anyone else. Obama does stat in his autobiography that his grades were pretty lousy. In this instance, I will believe the President on this one. Obama did say that he could not help his 7th grade daughter do her math homework because it was above his level. I will go out on a limb and agree with the President twice on this one post.

Finally, his specialty was supposedly Constitutional Law, but if that was the case, how come Obama been spanked down by the Supreme Court time after time by 9-0 decisions?

I'm sorry, your assertion that Obama is accomplished in his academic field does not stand up to a the facts.

One only needs to look at the economy and foreign policy to know what I'm saying is true.

I have lost track of who announced and who didn't. But so far I have seen no one who excites me from either side of the aisle. It seems we are about to have another ho hum election with business as usual candidates. Nothing changes, just the rhetoric, but the actions and governing remains the same.

So, you must believe BHO has done a fine job as POTUS, eh?

Take your head out of your ass and look around you.

Here's a clue for the clueless.

That's ludicrous. We know that Obama graduated with honors at the top of his class.

Can't say that and get away with it, if it is not true.

Better yet, since that is considered as fact by many, why don't YOU show where it isn't true?

    - - - Updated - - -

Well yes, you do need to prove it... as being anything more than your opinion, which you DO have a right to.
