LOL cops are trained to run to the danger but not to fall on the hand grenade. A better understanding of tactic would benefit you greatly. WOW

I took one in the 90's. It was designed to root out homosexuals and intellectuals.

so you have nothing to support your claim, once again?

I should simply take YOUR word for it?

    lol!!!!! not gonna happen, bro.

I've seen more than enough definitions stating civilian does not include members of the police.

the worst thing that could happen to the dems is a dem justice reverses Heller.

tell me what part of the constitution was intended to give the federal government gun control power and why

    1) was it not "discovered" until 1934

    2) why earlier supreme court cases held that congress had no power to regulate individuals within the several states

    3) why there is not a SINGLE DOCUMENT from the founders that said the federal government had gun control powers

so your specious claim that the 5 who were in the majority in Heller based their decisions on "Facebook memes" is beyond pathetic. the four dissenters are dishonest statists. Stevens whined that the USSC did not FOLLOW bogus LOWER COURT decisions that MISINTERPRETED THE SEMINAL CRUIKSHANK CASE (those statists claimed that since CRUIKSHANK HELD that the 2A DID NOT CREATE AN INDIVIDUAL RIGHT TO KBA (true, the 2A RECOGNIZED a pre existing right) THEN NO SUCH RIGHT EXISTED. Stevens was senile at the time and his dissent is widely seen as a joke

even worse was Souter who claimed that the 2A should be change dependent on the environment-for example in a crime heavy socialist city like CHICAGO, they could ban guns but maybe not in Montana

Only the gang bangers that make up the bulk of our gun violence stats. They don't seem to abide by laws including gun laws. Most have criminal records that exclude them from carrying guns.

From the FBI uniform crime report... Keep in mind that blacks only make up about 13% of our population but are responsible for about 54% of murders.

An examination of data regarding the offenders for whom race was known showed that 53.6 percent were black, 43.9 percent were white, and 2.5 percent were of other races. The race was unknown for 4,112 offenders. (Based on Expanded Homicide Data Table 3.)

In 2013 which is the most recent data, there were 12,253 murders.

Sixty-nine percent of the homicides for which the FBI received weapons data in 2013 involved the use of firearms. Handguns comprised 68.4 percent of the firearms used in murder and nonnegligent manslaughter incidents in 2013. (Based on Expanded Homicide Data Table 8.)

of course you won't. it would admit being wrong. but look at international treaties and see who is listed as a civilian.

and someone already cited US Code which refers to CIVILIAN law enforcement officers

what courts are cops tried in if they violate the law while serving as cops?

    CIVILIAN courts

Title 10, USC Chapter 18 refers to law enforcement officers as CIVILIANS

for most purposes yes. their powers to use deadly force are the same as mine when it comes to firearms

and lots of other civilians have certain powers through their office that other civilians do not. Judges, DA's Doctors, coroners, Postal inspectors, FBI special agents

tell me why FBI agents are clearly civilians and a local yokel or a county mounty is not

You seem to have a bit of contempt for people who are not government employees

    I have contempt?

I'm not the one who called for the murder of politicians who propose and vote for new gun laws. That's you, not me.

Do you believe that they should be treated differently? What about the 14th amendment? Equal protection clause? Preamble of the Constitution? Any of these things mean ANYTHING to you?

I like how you avoided the definition from the legal dictionary that people who write the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing laws use.

you don't read very well it seems. Why are you so contemptuous of citizens who own guns? is it that they don't vote generally for socialists? or do you believe that they are say hostile to some agenda you support such as confiscatory taxes or gay rights? or do you think its wrong for people to defend themselves against criminals?

    - - - Updated - - -

its a common habit. we have a guy on another board who says that "shall not be infringed" not only DOES NOT prevent INFRINGEMENTS because "INFRINGEMENTS" are not mentioned in the 2A (but in the same argument says that Commerce among the several states was clearly intended to allow GUN BANS). Gun haters have to parse and mutate the obvious language of the 2A and the constitution because federal gun control was anathema to the founders
