Do you even read what you post?

Then you have no understanding of basic physics, or federal law. Your position is no different than that of Josh Sugarman of the Violence Policy Center: anything that looks like a machine gun is a machine gun.

The hunting argument was ruled invalid in the Heller case. It is no longer usable in discussion and debating firearms ownership.

Furthermore, semi-automatic firearms have been marketed for hunting purposes since near the beginning of their creation.

These two standards are contradictory to themselves. If the government is failing to protect the people of the nation from a broken border system, and cannot prevent the entry of terrorists, thus necessitating that the people protect themselves, how can semi-automatic firearms ever be considered overkill when it comes to your own protection?

Are you attempting to suggest that you, as an individual, would actually prefer a smaller firearm for your own protection?

Assault weapon means nothing beyond a weapon used to assault someine. Hammers, crowbars, sausage skewers, pistols, umbrellas; those are all assault weapons if you used them in an assault. What do you mean by assault weapon?

I see we have another victim of the VPC/SUGARMANN lie which said this about 30 years ago

[H]andgun restriction is simply not viewed as a priority. Assault weapons ... are a new topic. The weapons' menacing looks, coupled with the public's confusion over fully automatic machine guns versus semi-automatic assault weapons—anything that looks like a machine gun is assumed to be a machine gun—can only increase the chance of public support for restrictions on these weapons.
