We've had 569 deaths due to mass shootings in the last 30 years according to Mother Jones.

10,000 people are killed due to DUI every year.

Yet here we are still claiming if we take everyone's guns, the world will be a better place.

I'm a white hard right Conservative but I'm not all up in arms, I don't care enough about the "others" to want to make them think I'm not racist. I couldn't care less, that's their own ignorant ass if they think so...

What I'm curious about, however, is how they would feel about this guy getting the death penalty.

 

was about 20 years ago, nowadays doctors are afraid to prescribe pain pills to people that really need pain pills, so they probably would not today

another weird story, about 30 or so years ago I had bad nose bleeds, they used a aerosol can of Cocaine to numb my nose before cauterizing the vein, doubt they do that anymore either

I suppose, kinda like Amphetamines, some people they calm and some people they wire.... some get addicted, some don't.... sure genetics plays a role

Though we've rolled off topic, I had my wisdom teeth pulled on one side and my dentist prescribed Lortab to me... Instead of filling that, I went to the local CVS and got a box of BC Powder. I swear that stuff worked better than any prescription drug, and it's over the counter and doesn't make you sick.

for the white people...I would skip church this week. already reports of a church in TN getting shot up. black churches should be fine for a while unless this was a first strike by a group of extremists...unlikely.

BC powder is good stuff. I dont use it anymore but i have in the past. It works very quickly but can be a little hard to get down. put it under your tongue and let it dissolve followed by drinking some water. headache or minor aches will be gone very quickly. I would use it again if i had some extreme pain.

 

BC powder is powdered aspirin and caffeine. It's main advantage over conventional aspirin is that it gets in the system faster. (caffeine helps pain management too).

Perhaps Mr. Obama should visit his old stomping grounds, inner city Chicago's public housing, with its 50+ murders, black on black so far, this year, and talk about the underlying causes of racism, and how easy it is for someone who wants to inflict harm has no trouble getting their hands on a gun. Just saying, the pot calling the kettle black, err, the pot AND the kettle happen to be black. He has no concern for black on black crime and murder, they are not beating each other to death in the Windy City, they are shooting each other, daily. The carnage is horrible - yet he, and Rev. Al never visit, and never bring their message of hope, political correctness, liberalism or gun control to those areas and citizens most in need of being deprived of that access. If everyone in Southside Chicago obtained a weapon, legally or otherwise, anybody think the carnage would stop?.............

If you take a prescription pain medicine that includes the drug hydrocodone, the way you get your prescriptions is about to change. And many people with cancer take these medicines.

The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has re-categorized products that contain hydrocodone plus another pain reliever as Schedule II drugs (up from Schedule III). The decision puts tighter controls on how these medicines can be prescribed and dispensed. Plain hydrocodone and most other(*)opioid pain medicines(*)are already Schedule II drugs and are not affected by this change.

The new rule for hydrocodone combination medicines takes effect in October 2014 and includes the following changes:

As of October 6, 2014, new prescriptions for hydrocodone combination medications will not allow for refills. You will have to get a new prescription each time you need a refill. That means going to your doctor’s office or the clinic.Your health care provider will no longer be able to call in these prescriptions to your pharmacy. You’ll need to get a new written prescription each time.

Some of the more common hydrocodone-containing pain medicines include:

Vicodin, Vicodin ES, Vicodin HPLortab, Lorcet, Lorcet PlusNorcoZydoneVicoprofenAny other medicine that includes the word “hydrocodone” and one of the following
- Aspirin
- ASA
-Acetaminophen
-APAP
-IbuprofenCough medicines including hydrocodone

Be sure to talk to your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist to find out if your pain medicines will be affected by this new law. Your pharmacist can tell you what to expect with any remaining refills you have on current prescriptions; some may be refilled until April of 2015. After that, you’ll need to get a written prescription to get more of these medicines.

that is basically the same as Excedrin, only it also includes acetaminophen... bayer back and body is what I take for body pain, is same as bc powder - good stuff, the caffeine does help

That might be the most important thing you got out of the article, but what I got out of it, was that the bastard was planning this for months in advance, and his room mate didn't think of informing anyone? No one else saw any suspicious activity? Rather than guns, it should be imperative that if anyone shows signs of socially disruptive behavior to immediately get them medical attention(and by medical attention I mean a mental ward).

And for those thinking: Indoctrination Camps. Get serious, that stuff requires a LOT of money and resources, and frankly is a waste. I mean taking preemptive actions of removing loose and dangerous screws off the street.
