Remove all drug/gang violence, USA still too violent

Even if we removed all the gang and drug related gun murders, the USA is still waay to violent.

too many mass-shootings.

too many murders over petty differences.

its due to Hollywood, poor anger management skills, poor conflict resolution skills, inside concepts of Masculinity.

and are gun culture.

guns should be kept in the home, for home defense/hunting/sport.

everyday Joe should not be walking around with his Glock to the Walmart, Costco, Target.

too many people in our society don't actually respect guns as the deadly weapon that they are, but instead see them as a tool not unlike a nail clipper, or a pocket knife.

What constitutes too much violence? To me a single act of unlawful violence is too much violence. By my measure every country on Earth has too much violence.

years ago there was a group called the "silent brotherhood". They killed Alan Berg and stole millions from a Brinks truck. They were aryan supremacists and big time gun owners. Their leader was killed by the FBI (Robbie Matthews). Their main gun guy was a former UDT/SEAL guy. he was sentenced to MARION, USP Level VI. within a short period of time of his incarceration, black gang bangers tried to snuff him. they failed. within a couple days, the HOME of the lead gangbanger along with his family was vaporized when a heavy anti tank missile blew up the house

moral of the story? no one ever screwed with that guy again because guys like him tend to have friends on the outside who both play for keeps and are masters at that game

Actually I did a statistically analysis on this. If you take out the murders in major urban centers out of the picture our murder rate falls in line with the average of most European countries maybe slightly higher.

 

mercenaries tend to ignore such laws. but a TOW missile is not an ARM within the meaning of the second amendment. its not a weapon individual citizens are expected to normally keep or bear. Its also not covered by the imperfect HELLER holding because its NEITHER in common use or not dangerous

Clear and present danger is a ridiculous standard. with 350M people, the government should be focused on that which is necessary to keep things orderly, which means more smokes and fewer anti-tank weapons.

 

anti tank weapons kill less people each year in civilian USA environments than those who die from receiving anal sex from horses. its a NON ISSUE and they already are so strictly regulated and unavailable for sale, your concerns are silly. What is also silly are calls for gun bans on honest gun owners in the faux attempt to prevent crime

 

I don't visit beastiality sites so I do not know what their death rate is. What is silly is thinking that the second amendment was ever intended to allow this kind of madness. It was always about defending the nation and enforcing the laws. The reason the Articles of Incorporation failed was because a bunch of yahoos felt they had a right to stand up to the government. There is zero historical context to support your position.

 

I need a good laugh. after spending years as an attorney who constantly dealt with constitutional issues, and who has lectured peer reviewed forums concerning the second amendment, I need your version of what the second amendment really means. I want to hear what you claim the second amendment was intended to do. Now I know what the answer is but I want to see what your position is
