Not even close! But, it's rare that we've ever had any president as truly destructive to everything this country has stood for since its beginning than the thing that has his autocratic ass parked in the White House this afternoon....
Despite all the hate, lies, distortions, and every manner of stupidity from the hate filled far right, President Obama's approval are FAR higher than those of traitor Bush: http://www.examiner.com/article/oba...ouble-digits-when-compared-to-bush-s-7th-year Obama's approval rating higher by double digits when compared to Bush's 7th year In less than 17 months, President Obama will leave the White House and the 45th President of the United States will take the country in a new direction. When comparing Obama to his predecessor, George W. Bush, Democrats and Republicans argue who was most successful, but numbers don't lie. When comparing any two presidents, whether or not they are successful depends, in part, on one's individual ideology. Looking past a party or a politician's political agenda, raw numbers tell a more simplistic story. According to Gallup's approval rating for Obama, current as of August 31, the president sits at 46 percent. Obama's approval has fluctuated over the years, but has maintained an average of 47 percent. His highest approval was during his first month in office, as is typical for most presidents, at 67 percent. During the recent midterm elections in 2014, where Republicans won big, Obama's approval dropped down to 40 percent. With a current approval of 46 percent, Obama is doing considerably better than Bush did at the same point during his presidency. Comparing Obama and Bush with 17 months left in office, there's a wide gap between them. Bush's approval was just 32 percent, 14 points lower than Obama. Bush's first term was much more well received than his second, holding an average approval of 62 percent. The second Bush term averaged an approval of only 37 percent, bottoming out at only 25 percent at the end of October 2008, after the financial crisis reached it's peak. While Obama does have another year and half to either positively or negatively effect his approval in the eyes voters, he's remained largely consistent during his first six and a half years. Unless a catastrophic event takes place, Obama will leave office far more popular than his Republican counterpart. A victory for patriotism.
You forgot to add the obvious choice, George W. Bush. Your poll is fatally flawed since it only lists Democrat presidents.
Lincoln and Washington were Democrats. Heck I will give you that even Nixon is missing. If Nixon were around today he would be considered a great democratic president. Most of his accomplishments are just what dems like All anyone remembers however is watergate
That was easy. Obama is worse than Johnson, Nixon, Carter, and FDR all rolled in a ball. He has single handedly run up the debt more than all other presidents in history. And when he finally leaves office the liberals and blacks will carry on about him like he was a god.
Woodrow Wilson: initiated the federal income tax in 1913. Of course he said that it would only apply to the super-rich at the time. initiated the war on drugs with the Harrison Act of 1914. Prior to that you could walk into your corner pharmacy and buy OTC marijuana, opium, or coca. unnecessarily got us into WWI and initiated the concept of US as worldwide police. was a staunch believer in the progressive theories of eugenics which was all the rage in academia at the time (Wilson held a PhD). He segregated the federal work force, including the military, which had been desegregated by Republicans. Most if not all ills that we face today as a nation can be traced back to Woodrow Wilson, the Godfather of modern liberalism. To his credit he did oppose alcohol prohibition, which nonetheless was enacted on his watch, and bequeathed us organized crime that has plagued us ever since.
Wilson, there is nobody worse. Aside from what has already been mentioned, he personally set the stage for WWII by his involvement and demands in Versailles. He abandoned US troops in Russia for the winter in the hopes of ousting the Reds. He specifically campaigned to keep the US out of WWI, which was a lie and through his policies broke the nation's neutrality and took us into the war. He was scum and sadly Obama is really working hard to catch up...
How do you figure? - since the housing market had crashed when Obama was still organizing communities in Chicago 'n all. Empty, see-through, ghost-town subdivisions as far as the eye could see. While 43 was still pres.
I've been conscious of presidents since about Carter. No question in my mind 43 has been the worst I've seen. But by the time the history has been written and the final analysis is in, Reagan will have supplanted ALL US presidents as the worst ever.
What a crappy list created by a rightwinger. Andrew Jackson was the worst president. He was a genocidal lunatic and complete tyrant in relation to rule of law.
My choice is not on the Poll but he would be Lyndon Johnson because he escalated the Vietnam War to such a degree that it tore the country half apart.
Depending on the criteria used to define "Worst" I would likely have chosen G.W. Bush based on his damage inflicted financially, physically, and mentally to the nation and internationally. The effects of his time in office will be felt for quite some time, and the United States is still working to recover financially...the world will take far longer.
Yep, except that when republicans howl that they are going to fix what Dem politicians broke then they generally at least give it a shot, and usually make some significant headway. Dem politicians on the other hand forget all their promises once elected, ignore the broken economy -- which they helped break in the first place -- and instead concentrate for a year and a half while they have control of the Legislative Branch in ramming something like ObamaCare sideways down the nation's gagging throat and then STILL ignore the damaged economy. I don't see that as any sort of Hope for Change.
