Nonsense! It is the Palestinian's fault. That's why the Jews take it out on them now.

Anyone would assume that when a person makes a statement claiming that Germany was great under Hitler's rule, that he or she is either denying the Holocaust or excusing it. Pretty much a given.

Of course they had a great life, until they were persecuted for building it and having it and thusly becoming Hitler's scapegoat.

WWll was a horror for everyone involved. I sympathize with everyone who lived through it.

Thanks, but I'm fine. And as far as I can tell so are most of my fellow-Germans.

According to the German “Statistische Bundesamt” there are just 8,2 mil of foreigners living in Germany. Of course its statistics wouldn’t count guys with a Bavarian accent and a German passport as foreigners just because those guys happen to have Turkish or Italian ancestry. Why should it? Thank God we live well past 1945 and don’t see the need for a “Ariernachweis” any more.

Your conspriacy-theory aside: You mean the European culture that came to value human rights, which are to be granted to every single individual human being, irrespective of religion, race or nationality?

Denying people in need help and shelter would certainly be very incompatible with the kind of European culture I grew up in.

If you want to describe a genocidal, racist war-mongering dictatorship as great, you’re more out of touch with 21th century European values than any of the refugees currently coming to Germany could possibly be.

I’d like to think it’s because of a deeply felt moral obligation to stick to abovementioned European values. But I dare say that – as mostly in politics - self-interest plays a role, too: Germany’s population is shrinking and ageing. Without immigration we’d be sitting on a demographic timebomb.

She probably knows that Jihadists tend to go the other way: Loads of deluded young Germans are stirring up trouble in Syria at the moment.

Hard to say who is the enemy when all sides commit war-crimes and don't give a toss about the civilian population. So maybe these young men don’t want to be forced to become anybody’s cannon-fodder, but just want to have a normal life in peace.

In that case it should be no trouble to take in a couple more millions.
The Aryans are all gone by now... most of them perished during the war and afterwards... a million and a half alone on the Rheinwiesen. Multi-Culti is the desired norm now.
I'm glad to hear that human rights is a European culture. I guess Mr. Zundel would now be welcomed also? Or does the culture still not include German Nationalists, who fight for truth and honor?
Very noble... no questions asked, I guess? Anybody is welcome!

Germany: Migrants In, Germans Out! The Death of Property Rights
    by Soeren Kern

    • Hamburg city officials say that owners of vacant real estate have refused to make their property available to the city on a voluntary basis, and thus the city should be given the right to take it by force.
    • "The proposed confiscation of private land and buildings is a massive attack on the property rights of the citizens of Hamburg. It amounts to an expropriation by the state [and a] "law of intimidation." — André Trepoll, Christian Democratic Union.
    • "If a property is confiscated... a lawsuit to determine the legality of the confiscation can only be resolved after the fact. But the accommodation would succeed in any event." — Tübingen Mayor Boris Palmer.
    • Officials in North Rhine-Westphalia seized a private resort in the town of Olpe to provide housing for up to 400 migrants
    • "I find it impossible to understand how the city can treat me like this. I have struggled through life with grief and sorrow and now I get an eviction notice. It is like a kick in the stomach." — Bettina Halbey, 51-year-old nurse, after being notified that she must vacate her apartment so that migrants can move in.
Nice kick in the shins! I guess I lack the brainwashing you got administered.
Yup... it's a problem with the white race everywhere - not enough kids.
Let's hope Mutti is right. But why would young Germans fight in Syria? Are they fighting for or against Assad?
In that case, they are much smarter than the young Germans running to fight in Syria.

Thanks for providing me an opportunity to look at the situation in Europe through your eyes. Your naivete is touching and consoling at the same time. I think Germany will survive and thrive.

It's obvious. Italy is not an independent state. Incidentally like France and the United Kingdom. All decisions are made by Washington. Italy can only click his heels and say, "Sì, mio signore". As well as Paris, Berlin, London or Tokyo. And does not matter - it is beneficial for the EU or not. As we all know - the problem of the Indians do not care the sheriff.
Maybe the imposition of sanctions against Russia is beneficial for the EU? Italy and Spain are in a very bad state of the economy. In terms of debt-to-GDP, these two countries is worse than in Greece. France and Britain also in poor condition. And I'm not talking about the countries of prostitutes from Eastern Europe. In these circumstances, EU governments to impose sanctions on Russia. The sanctions, which are harmful to the EU economy greater than Russia. But what is strange - the trade turnover between Russia and the United States increased. Trade turnover between Russia and the European Union fell. Who benefited from it?
If you look objectively, you see - the EU is now a colony of the United States. And Italy as well. All of this - the root cause of problems.

The “Aryan Race” you mean never existed. It’s a Rosenberg fantasy. As for Germany and Europe in general: we’ve been multi-culti ever since Homo Sapiens mated with Neanderthals. Nazi Germany would surely have been satisfied with my supposedly “Aryan” bloodline, but truth is: just like pretty much every other German I’m a mutt: a produce of endless waves of migrations and intermixing of various different cultures that took place on our continent since time memorial.

Sorry, I’m not that convinced of Germany’s § 130 StGB either, but as it is freedom of speech does not include the right to incite Goebbel’s style hatred against minorities. We’ve been there, done that and it didn’t do us any good, so Germany saw the need to defend its democratic system against fascists who want to do away with democracy and take everybody’s freedom of speech away for good just as they did in back in 33.

Mr Zündel doesn’t fight for truth but spreads obvious lies. But it's rather amusing that of all the holocaust deniers you could have chosen, you picked the UFO-nutter as your poster-boy. What next? Search for the Holy Grail? :roflol:

Bettina Halbey doesn’t live in a private resort but in municipal property and fell victim to a daft provincial city major and his ill-advised ideas to save money. Hamburg considers expropriating vacant commercial buildings. So what?
Not that I deem it likely, but should the government ever ask me to give up my spare bed room to a refugee, I’ll survive that just as well as my grandparents survived when they had to share their flat with refugees after WWII. That’s the thing: a lot of Germans still remember what it means to be in a war, to lose your home and to be on the run. Maybe that’s why so many of them find it a matter of course to be “noble” and to extend a helping hand to people who now experience similar traumata.

My “brainwashing” is based on the broad consensus as taught in European history lesson classrooms. You may prefer whacko Nazi propaganda à la Zündel, but as of yet his opinions are as remote from the broader European value system as those of Islamic hate preachers. I’m sure you are consistent enough to go all Voltaire about the latter’s right to free speech, aren’t you? ;-)

Nothing to do with race, but with socio-economics. Personally I couldn’t care less about a kid’s colour of skin. What I do care about is wether my pension will be financed and my ass will be wiped once I’m old and fragile.
Mostly for ISIS, haven't you heard?

Glad to see, that there's a point we agree on.

Yes, for as long as Neo-Nazis are kept at bay Germany will be a vibrant dynamic multicultural society. Should they ever get into power I shall be among the first to seek asylum in another country.

Let's hope they will all settle down nicely with German wives and create lots of children to keep the pension cheques for the politicians coming.

Which country do you have in mind to escape to, should the Nazis get resurrected?

Astonishing to have seen Gregor Gysi in all this cut together garbage. He’s right: we need to create safe legal ways into Germany. How refugees are treated at various EU borders is indeed a shameful violation of human dignity and thus of § 1 of the German Basic law: http://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/englisch_gg/englisch_gg.html#p0015.

Given that I’m married to an Englishman the UK would be the easiest choice. Also the great Indian Curries you can get in my in-laws’ neighbourhood might somehow compensate for the loss of my favourite local Falafel-place.

Maybe their behavior is prompting that kind of treatment? Most of them are not fleeing war-torn Syria... they come from all over North Africa and even the Balkans. Do you find this open welcoming from Merkel appropriate? Does she not violate the rights of her citizens by forcing them to absorb the human as well as the financial burden?

Someone sent me an article this morning which contains an interesting piece about Mrs. Merkel:
I guess this is something that makes you very happy.. it is exactly down your alley, isn't it?
I think Merkel is nuts, a traitor of the worst kind. WHY does she support and foster these ethnicities while taxing and disregarding the actual German folk? Her handling of the situation is blatantly irresponsible... she is cowering to the US who are the real initiators of this human catastrophe. We all know Germany is regarded as the all-time evil dog and deserves to be leashed and made to obey orders. Merkel is very obedient!

Here is what I still don't get: WHY are there so many Germans cheering the refugees on and giving them everything they have?
A hundred thousand would be enough and could probably be absorbed, but not millions.

I have read, of course not in the MSM, that this exodus was a planned Chaos to decimate Europe's wealth, to reduce it into a Third World Country so it can never become a threat to America.
    Your opinion on that?
 You've got it made!!! BBC apparently has a documentary out about taking back our country from the Muslims, or along that line. England seems to be overrun by Muslims and is drowning in Moshees. You would be in seventh heaven!!

Maybe having bought a ticket for a train and not being let on it and instead being made camp in open air Budapest for weeks with thousands of others with next to no sanitation made them do it. I’m a rather docile person, but I think in such a situation I might lose my temper after about day one.

Well, here’s the numbers with Syrians clearly in the lead: http://www.bamf.de/SharedDocs/Anlag...eschaeftsbericht.pdf?__blob=p ublicationFile

And don't forget: in Germany the right for asylum is an individual one. It doesn’t matter whether you come from Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Eritrea, whether you suffered discrimination as a Roma in the Balkans or are called Edward Snowden: you’ve got the right to apply for asylum.

Well, I never voted for that woman, but I’ve had to accept her mandate. That’s how it works in our democracy: vote and for the next 4 years whoever had the majority vote will reign your country, like it or not.
I dislike a lot of what Merkel did. But I certainly very much prefer to see my tax money being spent on bailing out refugees than on bailing out banks.

You are being sent rather confused articles and you seem to confuse religion with ethnicity, however: of course Islam is part of Germany. Just like Christianity and Judaism are. Atheists may have a problem, because God is being mentioned in the Basic Law, but as of yet they seem chilled enough not to care and to just get the general gist of the phrase. As for ethnicity: Asian looking Philip Rösler is just as German as Caucasian looking Angela Merkel.

While I don’t forget that Germany is the world’s third biggest exporter of arms and has made (*)(*)(*)(*)loads of money with what causes the human catastrophe, I agree that failed US politics are mainly responsible for the current refugee crisis. And I agree that Merkel has a tendency to cower to them, especially in the NSA issue, but I don’t see the US having any major interest in Germany’s handling of the refugee crisis. Then again I’m not that prone to read confused articles, that have Gregor Gysi down as a Neo-Nazi Jew.

So you don't get basic human decency?

    Conspiracy theory devoid of logic.

I don’t need to go to the UK to see a mosque, there’s one right around the corner. I have Muslim neighbours, customers and friends. That’s probably why West German city folk such as myself tends to be so much more relaxed about Muslims than East German country folk, that has never seen a Muslim in their God-forsaken remote empty villages. Fear of the unknown and all that ...

As for the BBC: I’d be very surprised to see it broadcast any documentary that’s even halfway down your alley. You probably wouldn’t even enjoy their comedy:

Germany creaks under strain of open door policy

The realities of shouldering Europe’s refugee crisis are coming home to Germany, amid daily reports of clashes in asylum seeker homes; bureaucrats overwhelmed by a backlog of registration claims and deep divisions within chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservative ranks over how to manage the enormity of the challenge.

    School authorities are calling for at least 25,000 new teaching recruits to cope with the large numbers of new pupils;
police officers are being brought out of retirement in their thousands,
and the nation is being scoured for suitable accommodation as winter approaches.

Latest estimates, so far unconfirmed, are that Germany might expect as many as 1.5 million refugees by the end of the year.
Many women and children can be expected to follow the males who made up the majority of those making the journey first.
An estimated 10,000 people continue to arrive every day.

Officials from Merkel’s party wrote her a letter in which they voiced their concerns:
“The open borders policy we are now implementing is not in line with either European or German law, nor does it reflect the CDU’s programme,” they wrote.

The average immigrant in Germany is a startling 29 years younger than the average German, who is 46.

At the State Office for Health and Social Services in Berlin, refugees go to be registered. 1,500 people are waiting for their number to be called – some of whom had been there for 35 days!!

For how long will Germany be able to cope?

The world will watch how the Germans will eat their soup they ladled into their bowl! Should be interesting.
