I'll be sure to keep that in mind when the next Christian suicide bomber blows themselves up in the name of Christ...

    Meanwhile in the middle east...

Are churches not filled with tax paying citizens? Should businesses and personal households now hire personal security? You're wrong on this one.

For once we agree. When my Church holds an event we have to pay an off duty Deputy to provide security.

You should keep that in mind when someone commits an atrocity in the name of God, like Jim Jones, David Koresh, Eric Rudolph, or Timothy McVeigh.

Tim McVeigh was an act against the government for how it handled the Waco incident.

Keep in mind Islamic terrorists have done more damage in this country than any other terrorist faction has dreamed of. All in the name of their religion and hatred for you as well.

But yes, tell me again how Christianity , being surrounded by it I. This country, has hurt you in any way please:

Really? Because I would say that Christian terrorism has done FAR more damage over the hundreds of years of lynchings, persecutions of minorities, etc.

Really? If you wanna go back in time you wanna go back to Islams inception and it's never ending blood trail?

Would you like to discuss how those of the Islamic faith began the trans Atlantic slave trade as well?

Would you like to discuss how Islam attacks everyone globally today?

Or shall we forget past and present Islamic mishaps and pretend only Christianity is the evil of the world?

Come on, I wanna play this game haha.

As opposed to Muslims who have been enslaving people (including black girls) all over the world for thousands of years, and still doing it do this very day. Lynchings of "minorities"? No they just shove gays off of rooftops and stone women to death for adultery, all in the name of Allah. Islamic terrorist is a far bigger threat to western world.

Isnt it funny how the left wants to condemn the large group that brought them the western world and greatly influenced western teachings , but defends those who are stuck in the Stone Age and still to this day carry out many atrocities you mentioned on a daily basis?

The left never ceases to amaze me with their ignorance.

What did David K do? He was sitting in his cult church on a Sunday morning when the ATF attacked him and his followers because of trumped up gun charges.. In the end the Waco siege was a very clear case of left wing government terrorism.

Do you think that the American slaves would have been freed when they were without the push from christians?? Does Soros think that atheists were abolitionists?

Timothy McVeigh was signficantly influenced by the Christian Identity movement that uses religion and politics to argue their core beliefs. The group uses religion to interpret that Jews are the true Anglo-Saxon, Germanic master race that should dominate the world. In addition, they use religion and interpret the Bible to rationalize their arguments. In essence, religion was very much a part of Timothy McVeigh, but it was not the traditional Christian faiths that McVeigh was close to.

For starters, he was sleeping with girls as young as 12 and calling them wives as well as beating an 8 month year old girl for 40 minutes. HE believed that every girl, no matter how old, was his wife, and all marriages that entered the compound were annulled by David Koresh. He also purchased illegally automatic firearms including a duece, among others as well as allegations of bomb making explosives (that is how the ATF got involved). He also threatened local business owners if those business owners did not do the work for free. Where the compound was located, you could not apprach it without being identified and seen from more than 2 miles (it is sitting on a small hill in the middle of a field). The ATF, FBI, and local law enforcement, who were all there at the time of the initial raid with the warrant. The warrant was obtained by several affidavits including a UPS driver, a former member of the compound who saw several illegal firearms, and observations from a sting operation in late 1992. The AFT was simply doing its job. Mistakes were made during the seige, but nothing in what you said.

BTW, I was there. And if you really want to look at this, research the Waco Tribune-Herald beginning Febuary 27, 1993 for the title of a series of articles called "The Sinful Messiah."

You need to read on why mcveigh did what he did. You guys keep trying to equate him to Islamic terrorists when his motive was not religious based. Doesn't make what he did any less or more evil, but you guys really need to drop the BS .
Face it, every single thing Islamic terrorists do is in the name of Islam, where as not everything a Christian does is not always in the name of religion.

Probably about as happy as the protesting Muslims would be with the counter protest.

If any of you intelligent folk had actually read the context instead of just jumping into the conversation, you would've seen that I was replying to a post where it was claimed Islamic terrorism had done more damage in this country than any other faction. So, pointing out that Islamic terrorism has a long and tumultuous history outside of this country has literally nothing to do with the conversation that was being had. If I want people to point out irrelevant facts, then this must be the place to be.

    Get off your soap boxes.

Of course, their happiness is not at all relevant. Americans can exercise their fundamental rights regardless of how anybody *feels* about it.
