The funny thing about this is that Kasich is the only one between him and Rubio who stands a chance against Hillary. A very good chance.
I am sure that Trump, in his eminent wisdom, is planning to drop out and throw his support to Kasich for the good of the party.
I agree that a Rubio/Kasich or Kasich/Rubio ticket wins them the day. Not only will they win.....but they will win Yuuuuuuuge. Basically Landsliding Hillary and the Demos. Leaving them with their only Hope. Taking back the Senate. Now that is an actual realistic goal for the left. All that hoopla over Hillary is nothing more than some bloviating hot air. Right now she has some major problems that just won't get her what she wants.
