Exactly what I've been preaching. Many people have worked in SCIFs, in IAs, and many others. Never do they DARE send any of that info classified or not on anything other than a secure server.

It means she a complete idiot.

How about the 'truth' as: "I, as one of the top administrative positions being the Secretary of State for the United States, was careless and irresponsible' with sensitive information and chose to use a personal server to transmit & receive such w/o regards to the nations's security but for my own protection from possible political opponents!!!!

The weasel wording was her saying "I was allowed to..." Show me documentation where she was granted permission to discuss national business on personal email!!

You are the one with your head in the dirt and have zero respect for national security, yet you are probably a big Apple & protection of their encryption fan, huh?!

I believe she was alluding to her statements elsewhere that what she did was not unusual and that her predecessors at the State Department had done the same thing. Regardless, when she says that she takes responsibility, that means she takes responsibility. It seems to me that it's really hard to mark a charge of weasel wording stick after as blunt a statement as that. She gave more details about what happened because she was asked. Even if there's some spin in the explanation, that doesn't change the fact that the buck stops with her and she took full possession of it.

Incidentally, Politifact's ruling on the question is:
    Our ruling

Clinton said, regarding her State Department email practices, "my predecessors did the same thing."

This is a misleading claim chiefly because only one prior secretary of state regularly used email, Colin Powell. Powell did use a personal email address for government business, however he did not use a private server kept at his home, as Clinton did.

We rate this claim Mostly False.

Digital privacy is a whole other topic that would take a pretty lengthy post to do it justice. To be honest, I just don't feel like writing it right now. And I haven't even really made up my own mind on a lot of points about it.

Show me where her predecessors admitted discussing classified or even sensitive info on their personal emails...only a fool or a deceiver would do that!

With the lack of success and poor performance she had as SOS, you must wonder how much sensitive info was picked up by our enemies during her 'reign'

(Shrugs) If you have a problem with Politifact's analysis, take it up with them, not me. And has been said over and over, Clinton admits it was a mistake to use personal email for government business. And it was probably a mistake when Powell did it too.

Well, with any luck, the genes for testosterone poisoning should have weeded themselves out of the gene pool in a few generations since such idiots are facing increasingly slim prospects of passing on their defective genes.

Yes, we all know beta males can't attract women very easily, and are always second choice to the alpha males, as is proven over and over throughout time.

Beta males have this very narrow window where women want to try a sensitive feminine man. Kind of like having that lesbian fling in college.

ROFLMAO Alpha male? What do you think you are? A dog? Dogs make good pets, not life partners. And of course you gotta get em neutered so they don't act all crazy and stupid on you all the time. Marking their territory, mindlessly breaking stuff, running out into traffic and getting hit because they smell a female on the other side. It's sad, really.

Of course, since testosterone poisoning kills brain cells, your "sensitive feminine man" will probably wind up making more in a year than your supposedly "alpha" jock turned delivery driver will in a lifetime. I mean, it's not like being stuck in a dead end job because you think with your gonads instead of your head will effect your chances of attracting a mate at all...

Oh really? How do you figure? Your contention was that Clinton's "been giving that same disingenuous answer and not addressing the issue." Showing that Clinton has admitted her mistake and owned it hardly seems like tipping my king.

(shakes head sadly) Making a mistake is a long, long way from an indictment. Wanting her to be guilty of a crime because you don't like her does not make it so.

YOU'RE making it personal..if I or any 'peon' had done what she did we'd be behind bars as I type on the prison laptop..

She had signed being briefed on security issues when hiring on a the State Dept just as I and many others who handled classified material in the svce of our country, and SHOULD BE IMPRISONED!

Better pack up your King and his losing army and head for home..

Yeah, sure she should. And Obama is really an alien in disguise. Funny how the only people who agree with you are partisan hacks and not actual prosecutors.

Weak! Ask anyone associated with handing sensitive info (ex. .Gen Petraeus) what are the penalties for negligence and mis-handling of classified info

Hint: It's NOT making them CIC of our military....

btw, wimpy nerd Bill Gates couldn't survive in the cutthroat world of high dollar New York real estate.

Nor could he survive Trump's campaign, and the attacks he receives daily. :)

(Shrugs) You can scream and holler all you want, but until you can get someone who isn't a partisan hack (like an actual prosecutor) to agree with you this is just another in the long long long line of whacky conspiracy theories from the right wing about how the Clintons secretly eat babies.

I have no idea what you're on about.

ROFLMAO Neither can wimpy Donald Trump. He only got his business to begin with because he inherited it from his daddy, and then he only ran it into the ground and bankruptcy court four times. Yeah, real entrepreneurial genius there. Trump's one and only skill is talking big - he's got nothing backing it up. And he knows it - which is why he's got such a thin skin and is always reaching for the cheap childish insults. Trump's like the kid who always took everyone else's lunch money until someone stood up to him and popped him in the nose, at which point he'd run home crying for his mommy. And of course deny it ever happened the next day. Now that's a real wimp.

The nerds are the ones with the smarts who get the money and the status. Your poor old "alpha" males are like a bunch of broken down old plow horses who are too stupid to realize that the farmer's new diesel tractor means they're all headed for the glue factory. Incidentally, do you even know how to write an alpha?

Which one has the far prettier wife?

You don't have a very high regard for men.

    Too many sissy dates?

Meh, they both look pretty nice. Although Melania Trump sort of has that whole trophy wife look going on, which is kinda ick. for me personally? I'd say Melinda Gates looks better.

Your "alpha males" do not qualify as men. More like evolutionary throwbacks. Real men I like just fine. Not that it's any of your business, but I've had about as good luck dating men as women.

 I meant lower case, by hand, without looking it up.

    32 CFR Part 2004

Safeguarding Classified National Security Information; Final Rule

SUMMARY: This final rule promulgates a new Directive on Safeguarding
Classified National Security Information, which applies to Federal
    agencies.
It implements provisions of Executive Order 12958, Classified
National Security Information, that pertain to the handling, storage,
distribution, transmittal, destruction of, and accounting for
    classified information.

    Sec. 2004.4 Responsibilities of holders.

Authorized persons who have access to classified information are
    responsible for:
    (a) Protecting it from persons without authorized access to that
information, to include securing it in approved equipment or facilities
    whenever it is not under the direct control of an authorized person;

    (b) Meeting safeguarding requirements prescribed by the agency
    head; and
    (c) Ensuring that classified information is not communicated over
unsecured voice or data circuits, in public conveyances or places, or
in any other manner that permits interception by unauthorized persons.

Sec. 2004.5 Standards for security equipment.

The Administrator of General Services shall, in coordination with
agency heads originating classified information, establish and publish
uniform standards, specifications and supply schedules for security
equipment designed to provide secure storage for and destruction of
classified information. Whenever new security equipment is procured, it
shall be in conformance with the standards and specifications
established by the Administratior of General Services
    , and shall, to
the maximum extent possible, be of the type available through the
    Federal Supply System.

    Sec. 2004.6 Storage.

    (a) General. Classified information shall be stored only under
conditions designed to deter and detect unauthorized access to the
    information.
Storage at overseas locations shall be at U.S. Government
controlled facilities unless otherwise stipulated in treaties or
international agreements. Overseas storage standards for facilities
under a Chief of Mission are promulgated under the authority of the
    Overseas Security Policy Board.

And Hillary as Sec of State, a top office of national info flow, never got "1" classified doc during her 4 yrs...how gullible does one have to be to believe that!!

    Hillary = Epic FAIL
