Theres a great message in the ad. This story of the snake wasnt one I've heard, but the message was the same as The Scorpion and the Frog. Ignore someones nature with your naivete and bring them in, and you will get stung,they are what they are.

As we look at some candidates asking to bring in 65000 MORE "scorpions", this simple story offers alot of wisdom.

 

That's because decent people don't respond to fearmongering, nativism and bigotry.

I'm absolutely certain that there is no evidence whatsoever to support the OP's made up claim that this is going "viral" all over Europe.

 

The footage reminds me of video of evacuees after hurricane Katrina. Thats it really, the refugees are not all from humble little villages or from the well educated class, a lot of them are rough trade. Here in Florida we saw it with the initial Cuban refugees, and later with the flotilla refugees during the 80's.

Its not a new story. People are afraid of the lower class members of any mass evacuation. In addition to that we have the fear of these refugees harboring terrorist.

The video is pulling on a lot of innate insecurity about new and possibly dangerous groups. It is fear mongering. But relatively well done and effective.

If the baggage handlers are pro-ISIS they should be fired no doubt. But those are not part of the refugee issue and are not even Syrian as far as I can tell. The middle east is a big place and Islam is a big religion with lots of different denominations. Besides which there are plenty of homegrown ISIS sympathizers who grew up in the US or Europe.

The Kerry news story? ISIS is a completely bloody minded terrorist group with no respect for human life. This is old news, we all got this message a long time ago.

The Trump video is about Syrian refugees trying to escape death from ISIS and their own ruler. It highlights thuggish activity, violent protest (mobs), and flower wearing peace-nicks carrying "Welcome Refugees!" signs. Your links don't clarify anything except the amount of fear and confusion associated associated with this subject.

 

I'm not sure I want trump if the Europeans start liking him. That was one of 0's big selling points but I suspect that the MSM will take a different view now.

 

All this proves is that you've found a couple of tabloids that know how to pander to bigots. These are TABLOIDS. Sensational stories for stupid people. And they are pitched at the right wing audience in the United States, which is the audience for trash media.

 

So the truth, as accurately displayed on video, has now morphed into 'sensational stories for stupid people'.......I never cease to be amazed at the inner-workings of the liberal mind.......

Because you didn't make a comment on it. The fact that people are afraid of refugees, for multiple reasons, is well understood. The links you provided had nothing to do with non-Syrians being part of the refugee group. So, if not alluding or mentioning something means its over my head sure, have it your way Einstein.

Existing mid eastern groups in Europe are an issue all their own. But its natural for people to mix it all up when they're in the middle of a reactionary fervor.

To the original post: I usually don't like using the Hitler comparison. But, after watching this video, I have to say it is scary. It uses emotion to label all Muslims as snakes and, thus, enemies. Couple that with the threatening music and the raised voice, yelling the fable, Hitler's anti-Jew propaganda machine couldn't have done it any better.

 

Perhaps you should examine why you fall in to that category instead of what the category is called.

 

Just watch a trumpf rally and see the masses of morons frothing from the mouth. I guess if you start frothing too, you wouldn't see the problem.

He's already conducted military actions in my Muslim nations than Bush did. Even then the Republicans would use Muslims as a tool votes because it's easy to get ignorant people worked up over their fear and hate.

Pretty sure a nation united in conquest is worse than a few people staging attacks in the name of a concept which the vast majority of believers in said concept don't agree with.
