I'm not from TN, nor do I live in TN. My statement still stands. Quit crying over this and let the people of TN decide. Stick to IL state gov or federal gov things. The state government of Tennessee has nothing to do with you, nor you them.

Christians bash themselves by trying to make their stupid book the official state book. Christians have also bashed themselves with their ridiculous religious discrimination laws in some of the more ignorant, bible thumpy, southern states. Those of us with the ability to use logic and reason just point it out.

If it doesn't concern the federal government or the state government of Maryland, it's not your concern. You couldn't even vote for or against it if it went up for vote.

My residence is irrelevant, as is yours. Whenever christians do something stupid to further their fairy tales, i'll be there to ridicule them for it. I do feel for the non religious minorities in the bible thumper states who have to deal with these people on a daily basis.

I haven't made it my business. I couldn't care less if they made the book of Wicca their state book if that's what the people of Tennessee want. Everybody is crying and moaning over what TN wants to do and it's not up to most of the people whining.

    Thank you.

By becoming the state book, nothing is being forced. I'm not forced to have one single thing that officially represents Louisiana. To say this would force religion on people is a far cry and a long stretch and very big straw man for those that tend to put their nose in the business of Tennessee.

All you've done with your juvenile remarks is proven that you're emotionally blinded by hate and prejudice.

Get over it. When you live in Illinois and concern yourself with a single issue within a whole different state, your residence is very relevant. And you're still going strong with your juvenile remarks. Just admit it, it this wasn't something in favor of Christianity, the shine wouldn't have been enough to reroute your attention span.

Yeah, Christians are so abused. Me being Catholic, it is a joke hearing about RWers complaining about nothing.

It is not forcing religion; it is however giving state preference to and sanctioning one religion over all others while also making a mockery of the Christian religion as a personal belief.

What Christians do is their business in most instances. Forcing their book to be recognized as a state symbol is not a private matter - it portrays the entire state.

Please stop with the Christian victim mentality - y'all are a protected class in all areas of the law while simultaneously writing laws to subject others to your version of morality. No one except an extremely small of anti-religious extremists are calling for any legislation against you - instead it is the opposite. You know how you people (typically God fearing gun toting social conservatives) rail against some black people screaming racism at every issue - that's how you look.

    It's quite pathetic

I think all religious idiocy is equally dangerous.

I'm sorry, I can't take people who suspend logic and reason for bronze age fairy tales seriously. Don't you have a collection basket to fill up for one of the pedophiles at your house of worship?

    - - - Updated - - -

The arrogance of christians is breathtaking. Anytime any religious nonsense tries to mingle with matters of government I have an issue with it. Just because it happens to be your favorite superstition doesn't make it ok.
