"Mr Trump told ITV's Good Morning Britain: "It looks like we are not going to have a very good relationship. Who knows, I hope to have a good relationship with er . . . um . . . (whispered to an aide) what was the guy's name again? Oh yes, sorry . . . a good relationship with Mr Cameron, but he's not willing to address the problem either."

    Hope so.

Meanwhile, what a rotten choice is presented to US citizens this year; Killery the war-monger or Comb-over the bankrupt and friend of organized crime.

I know - I've never known an American election like it. It's something else I find worrying actually - as if it's a precursor of something big.

Donnie is a lesser evil. You've got to give him credit for making the politics less boring and predictable. It's really amusing. Donnie challenged Khan to take an IQ test. That would be great entertainment, Mr Khan and Mr Trump having an IQ test on the live TV. Unfortunately Mr Khan refused the challenge most likely because he is aware of his own limitations.

Presidential hopeful also warns that he won't have a 'very good relationship' with Cameron if he wins

I wonder how a bad Trump/Cameron relationship will influence Intelligence agencies and other agencies along the chain working together....you'd think it would have an effect

I doubt Cameron would have that big a problem with him but given that he likely will not be PM for much longer a PM from the right of the Tory Party will be in his/her element.

Boris and Trump, the showmen bringing the last production.

Trump, a prospective President, and he doesn't know who our Prime Minister is? Is he going out of his way to irritate people on purpose, or is he really that uninformed? Either way it's worrying and/or disrespectful.

It's a shame that Johnson has reverted to type because I was very impressed by his opening salvo; I actually caught a glimpse of a statesman. Next thing we see are photo-op pics of him emerging from shops shoving an ice cream into his gob and making those strange noises of his. Ah well, it was nice while it lasted.

We don't have 'a prime minister', we have a senior bureaucrat. Margaret Thatcher was a prime minister.

Thatcher was a monster who set about systematically destroying our manufacturing base and heavy industry, gave us record unemployment, record levels of inflation, privatised everything in sight and caused riots because of her policies (the 'sus' law and Poll Tax for example). Not one of my favourite people.

She did what nobody else would dare to do - she tamed the trades unions which were destroying the country.

That he really is that ignorant is what I have heard and thoroughly enjoying seeing just how far he can go - and he noted there was no red line he could cross over - no matter how far he went he still had the love of his fans. The further he went, the better. If he is indeed as ignorant as he appears then apart from Americans feeling more embarrassed when they watch him than they were of Regan with alzheimers, he will just be doing what he is told - but no! that does not go with her narcissistic personality! It will be more of the campaign trail no doubt but this time for real. ;)

Guess we all should have thought about this before putting someone like Obama in office eh? Hes the guy that made trump possible. Just like what Carter did for Reagan. The nation is upchucking its 8yr liberal left prepared meal. :puke:

Oh poor diddums US. The people elected a President who is half black and that did not go well. That he was not an islamophobe went worse and so all the poor racists in the States had to give up all Western Liberal Democratic values...just because their nasty country people voted a half black man into office.

People are responsibile for their own actions, both the bigotry towards Obama and what draws them to Trump.

Now I cannot forgive Obama his drones but that is a completely different subject and it in no way makes me a Trump swooner.

The mayor of London should stick to spreading jihad and not commenting on American politics.

And Cameron needs to tend to his own problems.

Please spell Reagan's name properly. And why would we be embarrassed by him? Reagan was the greatest president in my lifetime. You don't make $10 billion by being stupid. You should worry about where you live.

It’s not as if the diplomats and civil servants who do the real work have let a poor personal relationship between leaders get in the way of doing their jobs in the past. Why should this be any different (unless Trump proves to be as dictatorial and destructive as some fear he would be)?

Probably more likely that Trump is the response to the eight year do nothing Republican party. Clearly the Republican voters are embracing a non-Republican. That is why all the establishment candidates have failed in the primaries. If the Trump fiasco was a response to Obama one of the candidates embraced by the Republican establishment/ donor base would have been the nominee.

Is that all you have. Being a spelling Nazi - oh no, I forgot you are voting for Trump not because of what he will or will not do but because he is your idol, your man. Regardless of what he says you will be voting for him which brings us back to the question of whether the US has stopped education, apart from spelling B's of course. Regarding embarrassing. If you would not find it embarrassing a President not knowing what he was talking about or waiting for his wife to tell him what to say then we are getting back to what you said on a previous thread, the policies of a President matter nothing to you, all that matters is if he titillates you sufficiently, then you will let the big strong man overpower you. Of all the arguments I ever thought I would hear on a political forum, your one of, I am voting for him not for his policies but because he is my idol , from a citizen of the US is the one I least expected to hear.

Of course you need to remember what they say about Democracies - you get the Government you deserve.

Who made $10 billion? What's Donalds Trumps Net Worth? Trump say $10 billion Forbes say $4.5 billion

This is why he won't release his taxes.
It just provided more evidence of his questionable ethics when it come to telling the truth.

The intelligence relationship is at the heart of the so called "special relationship" and that relationship was (and is) well above the political players of the day -- who come and go.

Witness, for example, the fact that Gough Whitlam was the subject of a CIA sponsored coup d'etat because he wanted to bring an end to Pine Gap and ASIO bowed to the USA on this and the coup of a democratically elected prime minister resulted. A very similar thing happened in the UK with the pressure put on PM Harold Wilson, where another coup was planned. Wilson resigned instead and spent a lot of time thereafter tracking the CIA hand in his planned removal.

So, short answer, Cameron is about as significant as a dish washer in regard to the Five Eyes.

im sure its a combination of both do nothing rinos and obamas abysmal leadership of the nation. Your side has the same response and is why sanders is so popular...good for you guys, the problem there is unlike our side you guys were too focused on Trump to notice Hillary was bending sanders over. Now its too late, instead of running sanders you are going to be running the epitome of a status quo do nothing line their own pockets politician at a time when the nation is absolutely disgusted with that type of politician.
