I read thru your link, and this appears to be a complete fabrication.

I wonder if Trump will send Churchill's bust back, and then lie about it.

And Jewish Beth Din courts. Actually neither are 'courts' in the legal sense but are voluntary tribunals in which both parties agree to arbitration in domestic disputes, arguments over debts, etc. In both cases English Law is the final arbiter, not Sharia or Talmudic law. Not terribly scary, is it?

Nope, I think you'll find that what you see as 'scared' is actually horror that an ignorant misogynist, serial liar and moral bankrupt who has absolutely no idea what politics entails, might actually become leader of the world's most powerful nation. I will concede that he has succeeded brilliantly at one thing; making America a global laughing stock. You should be proud.

The Cold War would have dragged on if Carter had won in 1980 or if Mondale had won in 1984. They would not have spent money on defense like Reagan did, which put the Soviet Union over the edge. Reagan did end the Cold War.

The Cold War was the ultimate victory of small government over big government.

I disagree and as far as I know so do most historians.
Reagan did not end the cold war and he definitely cannot be seen as a small government president.
The cold war was the victory of individual freedom vs collectivist ideas.
Who has ever told you that Reagan was a small government guy? Right wing blogs?

Only if you want it to be. The rest of us aren't that terrified, frankly.

    - - - Updated - - -

What was it Goebbels said, and I paraphrase-'if you tell a lie often enough and loud enough it will be believed'? The lie here is that Reagan was the saviour of the West by bringing down Communism.

You will be when it takes hold. But as per usual with you liberals, by then it'll be too late to do anything about it. [IMG]

Everything is relative. Reagan was the anti-Roosevelt. He wanted government half the size of what it was. But with entrenched (liberal) special interests and a Democrat Congress, he couldn't do all that what he wanted to do.

The Cold War would have ended eventually with or without Reagan. Under Democrats, it would have been prolonged.

I don't suppose you've noticed how the first guy who came along and detached himself from god, guns and gays and promised to bring back a few jobs is your presumptive nominee. Let's face it, you do not own an inquiring mind.

    Thanks. I was just curious.

But LOL...he's not my nominee, which I've made clearer here than the nose on your face. Seeing how you missed the mark so badly, your writing could obviously use a lot of work...your ad homs, too.

    LOL

Trump said he'd defend Christians, and believes in God.

    He's 100% pro-gun

Who cares about gays, detaching yourself from them is a good thing.

    And, Trump is the nominee.

    And, your next president. :)

I gotta tell ya, I've never been overly concerned about who your nominees are. Not really an issue for me.

A Sharia court in the UK has the exact same legal powers that Judge Judy does in the US.
    Same for Beth Din.

Pretty much any serious historian who isn't a US apologist or jingoist?

    http://www.ushistory.org/us/59e.asp

Just like the Iran hostage crisis of 1980; all the work, planning and negotiating toward securing their release was done under the Carter administration, but Reagan took the credit as the hostages happened to be released the day he took office. Either that or he was a miraculously fast worker...

It's really fascinating what you don't know, but I'm guessing that's intentional.

Darn cerberus, sorry to hear that it's so bad. Still, one can always hope.

    Or emigrate.
Or smash things up and then emigrate.

It's not looking very hopeful right about now.
My nationality is on the line and it's a 20 million vs 20 million, blue on blue battle.
I'm left thinking, divided we fall.

I get a fight or flight response from thinking about it.
