I understand why you want to call Judge Curiel "a Mexican though living in America"....

while you want to call yourself "an American" and not a "Dutch-Irish-German-Native-American living in America"?

    I understand it perfectly.

The judge has proactively intervened for the Plaintiff's attorney in extremely wrongful ways has put extra judicial knowledge (knowledge not from presentations in court) in one of his orders, which is always at disqualifier. Since the judge is openly considering what he sees on the news he has disqualified himself.

What, exactly, is RWNJ echo chamber spin about telling you the Republicans won 5 of the last 9 elections?

I actually agree with you. IMHO the issue isn't the language he used but that he made it an issue at all.

I'd suggest any Judge, that never had ties to extremist groups, political ties or parents from another culture.

    1. Judge Curiel is NOT tied to an extremist group. He was in La Raza Lawyers Association....not National Council on La Raza, if you consider them extreme.

    2. What "culture" does a judge's parents have to be from to be "fair and impartial"?

Is La Raza Lawyers Association part of NCLR?

If you had to describe Gonzalo P. Curiel to the police, would you describe him as a white guy, a black guy, an Asian guy, a Mexican guy or American?

I can hear you describing him now... Yes officer, he looked to be in his early 60's, about 5'8", 130 pounds, and American.

I guess it would depend on what he did though. I seem to recall the left calling Zimmerman white. It's just whatever fits your agenda, and this judge being Mexican doesn't fit yours right now. We all know, and we all know you'll follow this up with a question about something else.

So all Latinos are "Mexicans", huh?

You boxed yourself in with your Trump Apologia. To defend Trump, you say Judge Curiel is a "Mexican living in America"....

but to maintain your own superiority you'd NEVER say you are a "Dutch-Irish German guy living in America"....you'd say "I'm an American"

Thus, like Trump, you OUT yourself.....you believe that ONLY whites are "Americans"....while Latinos are "Mexicans living in America".

    - - - Updated - - -

Obviously, I understand EXACTLY what you meant...and what you are.

Doesn't have to be "extreme" to be a conflict of interest. The association advocates based on their Hispanic heritage do they not?

Depends on the case and the people involved doesn't it?

    2. So WHO can judge Trump fairly? Give me a description?

    3. Is the La Raza Lawyers Association part of the National Council on La Raza? Yes or No?

Newt has sung very few praises of Trump because there is so little to praise. Trump has done very little if anything to win the loyalty of anyone other than himself. Newt is concerned about winning the White House back and that is looking increasingly unlikely. Meanwhile Hillary will be able to appoint 4 SCOTUS justices. If that happens, IMHO, we will never recover. You can count me as an "I knew this disaster was coming" guy too. i didn't know it was coming for sure until he gratuitously insulted the judge and the female, Hispanic, Republican governor of New Mexico. Now we can all see the writing on the wall.

There will be much of this. Trump will say something inexcusable, the moron GOPe endorsers will be forced to distance themselves from the latest thoughtless spew. Trump and the endorsers will be diminished.

This is where the Dems are WAY AHEAD. They quietly accept all crimes from their ken. There are no enemies on the left. That's why Sanders lost.

I could really care a less what Newt or the GOP establishment had to say about Trumps take on this judge. I especially do not care one rats sass about what the likes of Dems/Libs/Progs think about it.

They are the real racists. Here is the HuffPo...just a few years ago.

Report: Race Matters in Judicial Decision-Making

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mike-green/report-race-matters-in-ju_b_461526.html

Donald Trump says something about it with a judge of Mexican heritage....oh, lawdy lawdy lawdy...what a racist is he.

The ZHuff Post is not running for POTUS but Trumpho is. Huff Post can opine and blather like any talking entity but a candidate for POTUS is expected to live up to better standards.

The immediate concern I have over the whole "Judge is a Mexican" kerfuffle is this:

Trump has committed to be the republican nominee. He has pledged to millions of people that he wants to be our President. He OWES it to them to be doing everything possible to win.

Why, then, is he concerned with this lawsuit against one of his private businesses? If he thinks that is as important as running and winning his campaign for POTUS, then he has his priorities seriously reversed. He should let his lawyers handle this BS, and focus on defeating HRC.

Further, if this is foreshadowing, when he becomes POTUS (and I truly hope he does), what percentage of his time can we expect he will dedicate to running the country? I, as a voter, expect 100%, but I doubt I will get it based on this performance.

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear enough. I said, quite pointedly "I could really care a less what Newt or the GOP establishment had to say about Trumps take on this judge. I especially do not care one rats sass about what the likes of Dems/Libs/Progs think about it."

I make reference to the HuffPo, specifically citing that race, and the race of the judge does in fact matter, because...this was part of the ammunition regarding white judge selections in the past, and how Obama had to right that problem, because:

Report: Race Matters in Judicial Decision-Making

I do not value in the least what the racists who vote harvest minorities think, and, I do not care what Republicans that quiver in fear and accept the double standard applied via white guilt, have to say about it either.

Trump struck a nerve because he exposed the racial double standard. Yet again.

Its about political corruption not him personally.

Read the available documents on the case. There is an odd connection involving the politics of the NY Attorney General.

The attorney general of NY has been attacking legitimate business under color of law to both make political points and, IMO, extort money.

Watch for this man to be charged in the near future, 3 year time frame. Somthings corrupt here.

    Cheers

Excellent point, he does seem to have his priorities off. Unless he doesn't expect to win.
