It seems pretty obvious what's going to happen here, the handwriting is on the wall.

"Hillary Clinton’s base of support appears to have hit its high watermark eight years ago.
Hillary Clinton Eau Claire yawnThe election results from the California and New Jersey primaries are just the latest examples of the contraction of enthusiasm her campaign seems to be experiencing."

"Trump has more wins than any other Republican or Democrat candidate in this year’s race with 36. He also has more primary wins with 33 and leads all candidates in percent of overall wins and in percent of primary wins.

Trump surpassed the number of delegates needed to win the Republican nomination for President a couple weeks ago.

This may be more delegates than any other Republican candidate and a higher percentage of delegates than any Republican or Democrat candidate in the race."

HISTORY! Trump Shatters Republican Primary Vote Record by 1.4 Million Votes

On Tuesday Donald Trump closed the door on the Republican nomination for President by winning all five of the remaining primaries — New Jersey, South Dakota, Montana, New Mexico and California. Trump won the last 16 Republican contests.

Trump has 1,536 delegates and counting.

    trump record delegates
The Republican Party started the year with 17 bona fide candidates for President. This was more candidates than any major party in history.

    6-7 wins
Trump has more wins than any other Republican or Democrat candidate in this year’s race with 36. He also has more primary wins with 33 and leads all candidates in percent of overall wins and in percent of primary wins.

    6-7 delegates
Trump surpassed the number of delegates needed to win the Republican nomination for President a couple weeks ago.

This may be more delegates than any other Republican candidate and a higher percentage of delegates than any Republican or Democrat candidate in the race.

    6-7 votes
Trump received 13,406,108 votes to date in the elections according to www.thegreenpapers.com.

As a result Trump has more votes than any candidate in Republican history.

Trump shattered the previous record by 1.4 million votes — and that was with 17 candidates in the race

George W. Bush had 12 million votes in 2000. The Republican Party also set a party record this year in pre-convention state election turnout with over 28 million votes to date which is 139% of the record high voter turnout in 2008. This increase in votes can be attributed to Donald Trump.

    6-7 2000 votes
Trump won a higher percentage of votes than any candidate ever when considering the number of contenders in the race. He also has the highest percent of delegates when considering the competition than any candidate ever.

    6-7 contributions
Trump may also be the first candidate in the modern era to have funded his campaign by himself during the primary season.

Although his results are much more impressive, he only spent a quarter the amount of money as Democrats Clinton and Sanders. He proved to be the real capitalist in the primary while Clinton and Sanders proved to be the socialists freely spending other people’s money.

Trump’s accomplishments will now go down in history. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton pulled out the win with more delegates than socialist Sanders. However, nearly a quarter of her delegates came from controversial ‘super delegates’. Her road to the Democratic nomination was far less impressive and may also go down in history because she may be under indictment before the November election."

Trump never got 50% of the vote in any primary until there was only one man left standing.

He has no GOP party support.

The billionaires are going to spend their money down ticket.

All he has is bluster, and "earned media" which owes his nothing, and knows that the ratings are the same whether they hand him the stage or bury him under it.

    And ....

Though I'm not a Hillary fan, she has received more votes than Trump.

Bottom line. It's way too early to call this one - at the rate Trump is putting his foot in his mouth and Clinton's litany of past troubles,
I think this comes down to who says something really stupid closest to November.

First of all, wins in a primary mean diddly squat in the general. That's a whole different hurdle to go.

Secondly, for you to claim Hillary's base hit its high water mark eight years ago, that's pretty amusing considering she's winning the primary race right now.

Don't get me wrong, this election isn't going to be about what either will ACTUALLY do for the country it will be about mudslinging the other side. The reason being is neither can really support their memes so their only real option is to attack the opposition since the reality is that both are pieces of (*)(*)(*)(*).

The real question is, "What are you going to do if Hillary wins the presidency"?

There's a phenomenon known as momentum and Trump has it.

    Trump HAD it.

One of his backers just lost her primary and unfortunately Trump seems to have developed a rather severe
    case of Hoof-in-Mouth disease.

Really have to wait and see how the conventions go now.

So did Romney, remember how he was going to win in a landslide according to some?

to many factors left unknown such as VP pick, debates, ads, and of course any gaffes. Still to soon to call, but no matter who wins, America is screwed.

Romney never had momentum he just had party backing. Trump is a movement and people are climbing aboard the Trump train as they abandon ship with Hillary.

Trump also has a higher UNFAVORABLE rating than Romney had, I would hardly call that "momentum".

So again, what are you going to do if Hillary wins?

Trump so called gaffs have had his detractors pronouncing him dead many times now but he always seems to land on his feet as facts come out.

If Hillary wins I will poke my ear drums out with an ice pick. I could not stand four years of that screech.

As the facts come out on this judge, Trump's remarks about him are seeming to be verified.

what facts? that he is a member of a Hispanic legal association?

that Trump's own lawyer says that the judge is "simply doing his job" and that they have no reason to call for his recusement?

that Trump's own supporters say that his compaints about the judge are racist?

I'm pretty sure the greater Trump's political success, the more his influence will undermine the current GOP.

I think Trump has the perfect strategy when facing such a divisive loathed candidate like Hillary. Divide and conquer, demoralize the center , divide her base, and energize your anti establishment base.

Trump could win, if he stops whining about the judge, Mexicans, and Muslims.

But Trump is not as smart as he claims, has no filter, and listens to nobody.

The reason that he wins is that he continues to speak his mind, and not duck and cover like the Ostrich party leaders.

Trump has no PC filter and does not listen to political so called experts and that is exactly why he will be our next president. People are fed up with PC and party politics. Hillary represents both.

not being racist against a Mexican-American judge has nothing to do with being "PC".

by your logic, the KKK and Neo-Nazis are cool cause they also arent "PC"

Your right - Trump has no filter. And it's only a matter of time before he says something about Social Security and that
may be the end of it. You can't win without the elderly.

I believe one of the biggest upsets coming this Nov is with the union support stepping away from Clinton and going to Trump. It will be a significant shift of numbers.

It brings me to remembering Scott Walker (one of the recalls) when he won yet again...and CNN was flabbergasted that Walker had taken 30% of union households.

More than likely Trump will take even more than that from Clinton.

Calling Trump a racist doesn't make him one but that tactic is evidence of how the left feels Trump is going to win and they are throwing everything they have at him in desperation

    - - - Updated - - -

Unions are definitely looking sideways at Hillary and her anti coal gaff looms large with a key state
