The Fully Automatic Glock with a 100 round magazine/drum.

If you trust your 2A, you think this should be legal for someone on the terrorist watch list to buy.

If you are a Libertarian you are probably mad because gun regulation makes this impossible to buy unless you are an arms dealer. If you are a terrorist and a Libertarian you are twice as mad.

Picture yourself shoulder to shoulder at a huge event with thousands of people. Happens often for many of us.

This weapon's mag can fit easily in an inner coat pocket and the glock isn't hard to conceal.

Now. Libertarians have to ask where the line is drawn. They have to understand technology will only get better in this industry.

While I know that this would be EXTREMELY fun to own, I also know that I sound like a man child stating this when discussing the risk of open ownership.

Some will say "the glock with the 100 round drum is no more dangerous than someone with a club, because clubs killed more people".....Because they are ******.

Do I need a car that can go 210 mph?
Imagine what that would do to a crowd of people.(not even doing 210, maybe just 100)

You need a license and a test to show you are responsible before getting one of those. But your scenario would happen quite often if it was just a Liberty without regulation.

And Explained. It's STILL a Liberty to own a car. You just can't be EXTREMELY stupid and own a car. Many will argue that many stupid people drive cars, which DRIVES IN THE POINT.

Or perhaps you will take the Nihilist perspective that "a crazy person will drive a car anyway, why have car laws"

my question, which no democrat has been able to answer yet... what happens when 3D printers make these guns a common item rather than the novelty they are now? I mean I'm sure by now everyone knows there are metal 3D printed guns floating around and some have shot off well in excess of 1000 rounds without failure now... so what happens in 5-10 years when you can't prevent these guns from being made, will you ban sales of 3D printers? how will you prevent this eventuality from happening?

The argument will be the same.

Tanks are legal now, but not armed tanks. When the 3-D printer makes tank ammo, it will still be illegal.

Making the argument that "It will happen anyway" is Nihilism. It's the argument of, "Why are there laws against murder, people will murder anyway.". "Why are there speed limits, people will speed anyway".

Because we aren't a Nihilist nation. The reason Liberals didn't respond to you is because this is Pre-K and you should know better. The bias want you to keep talking about it so you look worse.

I feel like that is a flaw on the Left and won't back voting without license. But extremeists that don't follow individual topic will justify very bad things so their party will win, which brings us back to the OP.

you sure do like to stereotype people... I was ASKING a question which nobody has answered, not proposing we throw our hands up in the air and give up... I've stated numerous times on this website things we can do to accomplish a reduction in violence and gun violence specifically... so perhaps you should stop reading too much into peoples messages, and simply read them for what they state, rather than your presumptions, because you bring WAY too much hate with your presumptions...

its still a VERY valid question, if the premise is regulating guns will reduce violence, how will you regulate 3D printed guns when you won't know who is making them?

Are we going to discuss other illegal ways we can induce this fast way of mass carnage? Or are we going to discuss lawful ways? Do Libertarians know the difference, or are they all Nihilists?

I brought facts, explain where I brought hate :) I never get mad in these discussions. Anger never fixed a problem in anyones life. Even snipers know not to get angry, keep cool :)

I already answered you. It will be illegal once you copy something illegal.

You can buy any car without a license. Cars that aren't legal on the streets are bought and sold all the time among the racing community.

Just how many Libertarian terrorists are there?

Yes, I think this should be legal for someone on the terrorist watch list to buy. The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental human right, and suspending human rights on the basis of unsubstantiated suspicions is unconstitutional and morally wrong.

The 100 round magazine does not make the Glock any more dangerous. It only makes the weapon more likely to jam and more difficult to conceal. Switching standard-capacity magazines is trivially easy and can be done in seconds if you have the magazines prepared properly.

The worst terrorist attacks in this country's history were carried out with a handful of box-cutters and a truck full of fertilizer. This vapid fearmongering is pointless and stupid.

so it will be illegal for law-abiding people to make a copy of an illegal weapon using a 3D printer... but how will you prevent them from making it? (thats the whole point)

"Yes, I think this should be legal for someone on the terrorist watch list to buy. The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental human right,"

And there it is.

This person also said the 100 round mag on the glock does not make it any more dangerous. And says you can expect it to jam. This is what is called justification.

If someone doesn't understand the 100 round mag full auto glock is more dangerous than a regular glock, they don't know anything about weapon safety and that is an absolute fact.

Already stated it in my first statement. Nihilism isn't an argument. Your perspective that bad people will do bad things no matter what laws you make is called NIHILISM. Nihilists hate laws and say they will break them anyway. "Law abiding people to make a copy of illegal" is ILLEGAL, NOT LAW ABIDING.

The conversation lost you posts ago.

Let's bring your Libertarian Nihilist propaganda back then.

You are stating illegal cars are bought and sold all the time without a license. "Cars that aren't legal on the streets are bought and sold all the time among the racing community."

How many cars were used for mass murder in your racing community reference? And let me tell you this, IT DOESN'T MATTER, IT WAS ILLEGAL!

I think you have a warped definition of what the word nihilism is, perhaps you should refer back to your word-a-day calendar... I understand the notion someone who breaks a law is not a law-abiding citizens, but in this instance the discussion was, we made something illegal, great so now law-abiding people can't do it... but how does that prevent it from being made? if all you're looking to do is use the word nihilism today, and circle around until you can say nihilism again, this is a pointless thread...

the thread title is "should this be legal, discuss and learn"... and simply pointing out that it can be made irregardless of being legal or not, is a valid point...

so please, try responding and discussing this without saying the word "nihilism" because it seems thats all you're repeating...

do you have a contention like, "yes this should be legal" or "no it should not be legal" or are you just going to keep saying "nihilism nihilism nihilism"...

seriously, throw away your word-a-day calendar...

P.S. I clearly provided arguments in countless threads on how we can address gun violence, so clearly I have morals and principles that guide me to believe things CAN be done, however certain laws not accomplishing the stated claims made by others, does not mean I think nothing can be done (thats your FAILED presumption), I am simply saying the thing they propose will not accomplish the goal they claim it will... that is NOT Nihilism... its just a cold dose of reality that their proposals won't succeed...

criminals kill each other every day, we seem to still have criminals... so perhaps this argument isn't a good one...

No cars that I recall were used for mass murder in my community.

There was a mass murder in my community that didn't use automatic weapons, didn't use the so called "assault weapon", and was in a gun free zone. That was illegal too. Of course there was the mass stabbing death in Denver, October 2012. That was illegal too.

Yes, Zoltan.

The crazy gun owner shot up a gay bar. You're saying that's natural selection? Wow.

You don't need a licence to own a car or drive a car. Just do so legally.
Many 15 year olds drive without a license all the time. Usually in driving classes. Sometimes with their parents.

But then again, drivers licenses and car tags are taxation by the government.
Meaning a 16 year old registering a car is being taxed without representation.

So now you are contradicting yourself.

This is your direct quote from a post above........
Most mass shooting use handguns with standard magazine sizes not high capacity ones. Anyone with any firearms training can change a magazine in a matter of seconds. Anyone who wanted to plan a mass shooting and knew anything about guns would in fact NOT pick the 100 round mag but would opt for the smaller and more reliable ones because changing a magazine takes infinitely less time than clearing a jammed round.

So are you stating that we shouldn't allow people to buy this item unless they have a parent with them? Or did you miss the entire OP?

OK.

I'm gonna let you post that and I'm not going to reply, it helps my perspective and you don't know why :) (learn what a full auto is!)

I'm going to leave it at this.

Look at these people that don't know the danger difference between a box knife and a fully auto glock with a 100 round magazine.......:eyepopping:

The gun industry made their talking points and the parrots are repeating without thought because they are scared of losing all their guns, which is propaganda BS. It's conspiracy theory crap the weapons industry is telling the NRA to repeat which is telling the RNC to repeat which is all passed with a handful of $.

I made the post to expose that there are avid gun owners out there bias enough to make the argument that they don't know the danger difference between the fully auto glock with a 100 round mag and a "club". They say "clubs" are more dangerous because more people were killed by them. Luckily the item I showed is illegal to the regular gun owner and only available to be sold to weapons dealers.

Still had people discussing the innocence of this because it killed fewer people than other items legally available and in most homes. Yet no mass murder happened with this item due to regulation. But it's a 100% guarantee if this item hits the open market, it will be used in mass murders.

The note to take with you;
Just because something is in more hands, doesn't make it more lethal.......................................
