Wall Street is hoping against hope that Hillary Clinton will not pick Elizabeth Warren as her running mate. As you probably know, Elizabeth Warren shares Bernie Sanders' concerns about the increasing concentration of wealth in a few hands and the resulting shrinking middle and working classes as the elite divert the attention of the "rabble" (that's you and me) from the country's real political problems to an artificial battle between "liberals" and "conservatives," carried out in part in vitriolic fashion in this forum. Wall Street bigwigs have clout, and Hillary Clinton has shown herself willing to do their bidding. If she does appoint Elizabeth Warren as her running mate, loads of Wall Street campaign money will dry up. In my opinion, given the dismal opposition she will face in the general election, she does not need Wall Street and can easily win the election without the help of super pacs. Therefore, should do the honest thing, tell Wall Street to go fly a kite, and pick the running mate with whom she feels most comfortable. However, I will be generally surprised if Hillary Clinton puts her self-interest last and the interest of us normal citizens first. Look for some other Wall Street lackey to be her running mate.
Liz Warren is just like every other politician. She will bend the knee to wall street if it gets her VP.
Just imagine! Wall Street doesn't want Warren...... Frankly, I think she'd be wasted in the Veep slop. Ask Joe Biden to stay on. Or, how about Mark Warner (Virginia)?
I don't think that is correct. However, gossip has it that Warren and Clinton don't have warm fuzzy feelings for each other. Also, it's hard for me to picture Elizabeth Warren playing second fiddle to anyone. She's not exactly a retiring person, which is a polite way of saying that she's rumored to be quite rude.
