Sure, but she is a member of the Green Party. The Green Party is a party that focuses on environmental issues. Of course, she has to have opinions on other matters, but . . . the Green Party??

Libertarianism is a proven economic failure in Kansas and Louisiana so there is no point in voting for them and while I support the Green party Stein is not a viable contender for POTUS.

The monopoly is the 1% who have been allowed to buy politicians and elections. That won't end until we replace the SCOTUS conservative majority with a more liberal one and that takes a candidate who won't appoint corporate lackey justices.

Tr(oll)mp is an unindicted fraudster who cannot be trusted with the power of the Oval office.

So no, I am not enchanted with the status quo but it was a Dem POTUS who reformed healthcare for We the People so I am going with the only viable alternative which is to have a woman's perspective in the Whitehouse. No, she wasn't my first choice since I liked Bernie but that is not going to happen.

I can live with Madam President. Tr(oll)mp would start WW3 and be impeached by the GOP House in his first term.

We need a sustainable planet if we want to survive as a species.

Anyone who pollutes the air and the water in order to make a profit should be imprisoned IMO.

Okay. I wasn't trying to slam people supporting someone else.

In this election, I'm happy to vote for the stable, competent, knowledgable candidate, versus the unstable, ignorant narcissist. Her being a woman doesn't even enter into it.

As I've said repeatedly, whatever you don't like about Clinton, it inevitably goes double for Trump. You can't claim he's an unknown -- he has been in the public eye for 30 years, and been a self-absorbed dip(*)(*)(*)(*) the entire time.

He lies CONSTANTLY, REFLEXIVELY. He lies in situations where he is easily caught. He lies in situations where it just makes him look stupid. Informed that what he is saying isn't true, he continues saying it.

Whatever problem Clinton represents, Trump is not the solution: he is an even bigger problem.

Vote for Johnson? I can see that. Vote for Stein? I can see that.

Vote for Trump? Sorry, I think you need to have your head examined. Not for partisan reasons, but because Trump is so transparently unfit for the presidency that it doesn't MATTER what his positions are.

Well in that case, I would have liked to also add "ban after the first three months," but that isn't the only one I'm talking about. It's just that, given the nearly infinite number of solutions to any of these policies, I didn't find the available choices to represent the kinds of solutions that I might like. In one of the examples, it was basically a "either raise taxes or don't do X" kind of choice. I would say that I wasn't satisfied with the available choices on well over half of the problems. As another poster correctly stated, adding your own answer isn't going to work with the algorithm, so that isn't an option, either.

It's still a cool quiz, but it doesn't really help me much. My beliefs are all over the place and just don't fit traditional categories, unfortunately.

No I do not trust Clinton any more nor less, but neither do I see her as a loose cannon thus my current assessment of her being the lesser of two evils.

Well, if they included ALL possible answers, it would probably be ten pages long! ;)

I agree. While I'm pro choice, I do think that it should be limited to the first trimester. I think that's plenty of time to make a decision (as hard as it might be).

*Shrug.* Compared to Trump? Yes, by a country mile.

I get not liking Hillary. But any complaint you have about Hillary goes double for Trump. So I dont understand how you can back Trump. It's like saying "I dont like this candidate; they were convicted of assault. So I'm going to vote for the convicted murderer instead."

How is she better? Sorry, I don't see one being any better than the other. I would vote for Trump over Hillary simply because she is an anti gun politician. I don't trust them.

    - - - Updated - - -

Me too. :) Gary Johnson. A lot of people apparently (whether they realize it or not) agree strongly with Johnson.

I don't need to take a test to know where I stand. I don't need the media trying to to tell me where I should stand. And I don't believe any politician as to where they stand. Everyone of them would sell their mother for a vote. Voting third party this year is safe, because they don't have a chance of forking things up. And that way, I can say "It's not my fault, I didn't vote for the scum that won.

The unholy trinity spoken of in Revelations is the BEAST that enslaves the world ($19 trillion national debt), the FALSE PROPHET that fools the world into following the BEAST (the media), and the ANTI-CHRIST that takes the world down to perdition is the one that wins in November.

The evangelicals have made their wish for Armageddon to come true.

That is the thing, most Americans are fiscally conservative and socially liberal. The problem is neither of the two major parties are. The Republicans give you the positive rhetoric on fiscal conservatism, the Democrats love spending with no regard to revenue or what 18 trillion probably going on 30 trillion if another Democrat wins this fall. But the Republicans are no better despite all their talk, that is all it is.

Republicans with their moral majority, wanting to force their moral values on us via the law certainly isn't social liberalism. The Democrats go overboard the other using the law to force their views of social liberalism which is thousands of miles way too far left. Neither party represents what is called, mainstream America.

I do think the Libertarian philosophy comes the closest. But they have no money to be heard. The two major parties get all their money from Corporations, Wall Street Firms, Special Interests, Lobbyists, mega money donor all for favors and legislation for them. Billions come flowing into their coffers to keep those favors coming.

The way I look at it, we the people put up with this, so we get the government we deserve. The best government money can buy.

I agree. While I agree with one side or the other on certain issues, I cannot find enough common ground to vote for either of the major two parties. And their candidates are just AWFUL. They've presented us with the worst choices of candidates that I've ever seen!

exactly ChrisL, Two bum candidates to choose from. Neither one worth a plug nickle as to helping solve America's problem. Outside of Perot's Reform Party, I never have belonged to any other political party. I believe in voting for the best candidate available, regardless of party. Being tied down to an R or a D, leaves one voting for the worst candidates available quite a lot of the time.
