True, I am not dead. But, someday ... some time from now. So, I am not a teenager that thinks I will live forever. Sure, I get up in the morning and say, this is what old age is going to feel like. Anyway, I am a Democratic. And true, as a very young child I was a Republican ... but I got an education and matured into an adult. I just put away my dolls, my invisible friends, and my childhood fantasy of being a Republican. I think I have proven that to be a Democratic, you have to evolve complex ideas past a simple tweet with words used from basic education. Yes, I understand there is a difference from 'their' and 'there.' But I am not a Sanders supporter, as I understand the most cost-prohibitive part of higher education is in the graduate Program. Yes, we need people with PhD's but most get out of college in their 30's and only spend 30 years in the workforce. And yes, I do know a number of friends willing to spend 1.5 million dollars for their child's education from pre-K to masters degree. But this year, I am with her. Not really what I want, but, I just do not see any strong field with both parties.
Welcome! Never trust anyone over 25 - or a teacher. The corrupt party system will die long before you do..
Welcome to the forum. I hate it when people say things like, "I great out of my childhood fantasy of God", or things like that. All people have their own biased beliefs on things, it is not a matter of evolving and becoming a liberal. If it was, then I would expect you should be growing out of the fantasy of politics.
Strange, as I am college educated with two undergrad degrees. Hey, if you go for a double major, you are only 30 credits from a second degree.
