There is an entire city in this country, once regarded as the bastion of liberalism and free thought .. which has only fairly recently turned into an echo chamber for self-congratulating bigots who won't tolerate the least dissention. They were, quite literally, so hip they imploded. I used to love the place, now I detest it. I feel unclean whenever I go there.

I agree the college should be about exposing different view points, and all within reason. Yes, it does seem a little harsh. Does the affected person have a right to appeal?? If so, then let the process continue, if not, then the college needs better review of their disciplinary actions.
