Our allies the Kuwaitis have passed a new law that "requires that all citizens, residents and visitors to the country submit DNA samples to enter or stay in the country. It was passed in the name of national security and in helping identify victims of large scale attacks".

But the premise for this DNA testing is not just to identify perpetrators of terrorist attacks. It is going to be used to identify non-Kuwaitis so as to cut them off of the generous benefits that Kuwait offers its citizens. With the price of oil so low, oil-rich Kuwait is having to scale back its benefits programs, and first on their list is cutting off those who cannot trace their lineage back to several generations of Kuwaiti lineage. This exclusion will include all of the Bidoons, who the Kuwait government considers illegals.

Interesting. Now this is exclusion and 'racism' taken to the extreme; but if you can't afford to subsidize your own citizens, why should you take on the responsibility of subsidizing non-citizens.

Other countries don't subsidize immigrants or subsidize them totally different than their own citizens.
But when an Arab country does that, it suddenly is racist?

Sounds more this is a retarded anti-muslim/racist article.

The US does more for the illegal immigrants than ever. In fact, the illegal immigrants are now championed during campaigns by the left wing. Why even have immigration and customs?

I think the greater travesty is using "DNA" as a grouping mechanism. The "correct" bloodline means there is a 'incorrect' bloodline. That is more worrisome to me than who gets benefits.

I asked simple questions about illegals getting unemployment and housing benefits...
    I'm not seeing an answer.

The Democrat party has never advocated for open borders as did the Libertarian party did back in the 1980's.

The Democrats are on par with 74% of Americans who believe that immigrants here should not be deported en masse and a legalization process should be offered.

Nowhere does that 74% advocate for open borders or no deportations.

I doubt they can distinguish the DNA of an "ethnic" Saudi from an "ethnic" Kuwaiti or an "ethnic" Iraqi.
That makes the entire story rather far fetched. And probably can be labelled as racist anti-Arab vomit,
    or just bad reporting....

Why are illegal immigrants receiving benefits? Anyone who enters illegally should be sent to their home of origin. Now, you will argue "deportations are highest they've ever been". True, but illegal immigration is too at its highest so it's the same game plan since Bush. Your love for criminals is swaying your opinion.

I lived in Kuwait briefly and I never heard of the Bidoons so this is new to me.

Who ever the ruling class is...it can be determined who is "related". Of course it could be totally subjective, manipulated, and corruptible.

Most benefits are state provided. If illegal aliens are receiving benefits, it's because the people of that state voted them in.

We deport as many illegal aliens as the system can process. Funding, staffing and the courts can handle about 250,000 deportations max yearly.

What are you talking about? Clinton used an illegal as an example for the campaign? Why was she not deported?

You Obama drones are pathetic. You sound like Trump when you get all defensive. Instead of gutting law enforcement and the military while we're 18 trillion in debt, we can relieve it by investing more into this country's criminal bloodsuckers' deportation

How did I become defensive? I answered your questions. Is that not what you were seeking? Answers?

Our national debt has noting to do with the funding Congress has provided for deportations.

It would seem exceptionally obvious that in the case of DNA,... when you can not distinguish 1 person from your own country with an other from your neighbor that you can not determine the relation thing at all.

Seems way to far fetched to claim that Kuwait makes some law about DNA, to than totally manipulate and corrupt it so only Kuwaiti citizens fall in that law, and others do not even though it's obvious they do. That's a conspiracy theory.

Them illegals come over to work, because Americans give them jobs by the millions. So it's obvious how to solve it. Punish Americans for employing non Americans sky high so they will never do that again.

I have no conspiracies. I simply restating the objective of this law. To determine who is of the Kuwati ruling family's bloodline.

Why do believe Republicans have never advocated going after American Businesses that hire illegal aliens?

Do you remember the law in Georgia that made hiring illegal aliens as migrant workers? Georgia farmers told Georgia law makers that they were losing millions of dollars of unpicked crops in the fields.

Georgia lawmakers made it part of welfare that recipients worked the fields. Farmers complained that 'pickers' were ruining more crops than worth having them pick.

It's easy to have simplistic ideas of what should be done...then there is the real world.

First of all, this article is a legitimate article stating facts about Kuwait's attempt to separate, using DNA tests, Kuwaitis with Kuwaiti blood-lines from non-Kuwaitis. One of the reasons is to cut off non-Kuwaitis from the generous benefits that will not be reserved for Kuwaitis.

Secondly, the US spends billions every year subsidizing illegal immigrants, and does every country in Europe.

Thirdly, the article obviously ticked you off, so you had to resort to calling me a racist, and a muslim hater. So typical when you don't have an argument. I never called the Kuwaitis racist. I think it is a perfectly logical thing to do. My point is: if western countries did something like this, Muslims, illegals, Asians, and many others would be out of luck when it comes to freebies, and we would be labelled racists and xenophobes.

I think we should take a clue from the playbook of the Kuwaitis.

I can't say the source is impressive.

People moved in and out that town called Kuwait for centuries in the days of the Ottoman empire. And suddenly they now got this clear holy bloodline. I mean... how gullible are you to believe that just because its mentioned on the internet?

But is the subsidizing equally of different?

To answer your question: immigrants find ways to get around social service requirements. They either have children, they become disabled, or they are old, etc.

I know where I live, there are older Asians that don't speak a word of English, and who have never worked a day in this country. They are put in Section 8 housing, get EBT, get cash stipends--they get everything older US citizens do.
