Did the FBI hear just what it needed from Hillary to wash their hands of the investigation?

If the FBI Director, Jimmy The Fixer, thought that the Friday-afternoon document dump of their notes from Crooked Hillary's interview would restore confidence in their handling of the scandal, they were sorely mistaken. Director Jimmy The Fixer recommended that the Department of Justice take no action against Hillary just days after this interview, and claimed that she had cooperated honestly with investigators. Even a cursory look through the notes put lie to that rather quickly. Instead of burying the story over a holiday weekend, the obvious contradictions and lies fueled rising anger over the FBI’s handling of the scandal.

Hillary aide Abedin said Clintons had personal desktops in Secure Compartmentalized Information Facilities (SCIFs) in their 2 homes BUT..

...Clinton stated to the FBI she did not have a computer of any kind in the SCIFs in her residences. (FBI report).

FBI investigation determined Hillary's Chappaqua SCIF was not always secured. Abed in and others had routine access to the SCIF.

There were clear contradiction between Crooked Hillary’s testimony and that of Huma Abedin regarding the use and security of SCIFs in Hillary’s residences:

Clearly someone wasn’t telling the truth, which should have prompted obstruction of justice charges against one of the two. Ask Scooter Libby what happens when a person unconnected to the Clintons lies to FBI investigators.

Overall, it’s clear that Crooked Hillary was lying to investigators or that she’s a complete idiot. Either way, Hillary doesn’t belong anywhere near the White House:
    ~
Anyone who has handled classified material would know this to be utter nonsense. Paragraph markings appear in all classified material to note the specific classifications within the sections of each page, while the page itself bears a marking of the highest classification information within it. Even without that knowledge, though, Clinton’s explanation still makes no sense, because the alphabet doesn’t start with C. If she legitimately wanted to employ this imbecilic alphabet defense, the follow-up question is obvious: “How could you think this if there was no (A) and (B)?” …

Did agents ask her to reconcile that experience with her protestations of ignorance on classifications, originations, and markings? The FBI’s interview notes show no evidence of that obvious follow-up. In fact, Clinton went even further by claiming that she “could not recall any briefing or training by State related to the retention of federal records or handling of classified material.”

On that point, the FBI had clear evidence of deception. In a non-disclosure agreement dated Jan. 22, 2009, Clinton attested to having received a “security indoctrination concerning the nature and protection of classified information.” That signature explicitly made Clinton “legally bound” to that testimony. Did investigators challenge her statement, or follow up on the potential perjury or obstruction ramifications? Apparently not. …

When asked whether a discussion of an upcoming covert operation should have prompted her to recognize the classified nature of the information, she told the FBI that “deliberation over a future drone strike did not give her cause for concern regarding classification.”

It doesn’t take von Clausewitz to know that discussions of military and intelligence operations require secrecy, especially covert operations such as the drone-strike program and its targets. To accept these answers at face value, one would have to consider Hillary Clinton an idiot, and especially dangerous if put in charge of the military as commander-in-chief.

And marvel over the apparent acceptance of these intelligence-insulting responses by FBI agents:

In addition, there were “mass deletions” of emails just after news reports of her secret private server became public, and after she received a subpoena, and order not to destroy any records, from the House committee investigating the Benghazi affair.

Hillary also claimed a lot of memory problems, leaving blogger Tamara Keel to write: “I have an Ivy League lawyer, wife of a former governor and president, who lived in the White House for eight damned years, then went on to be a senator and Secretary of State telling me she didn’t know about classified email and that work-related documents needed to be saved as part of the public record? Look, I don’t mind you bull(*)(*)(*)(*)ting me a little bit, Hillary, but don’t you ever lie to me like I’m Montel Williams.”

You don’t have to be an Ivy League lawyer to recognize a coverup when you see one. This goes far beyond anything Richard Nixon did after Watergate. If the coverup is this big, what’s being covered up must be pretty bad, bad enough that they’re willing to blow lots of smoke rather than let us see the fire… This is where we are on Labor Day weekend, 2016.

The House needs to file articles of impeachment against her. If convicted by the Senate according to Constitution, Crooked Hillary would be disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States.

So ineligible to for the Presidency.

Here’s where we today in America. The FBI won’t enforce the law on the powerful. The answers related in these notes are so obviously lies that in any other circumstances a grand jury would have been impaneled to contemplate prosecution. The notes don't just indict Hillary Clinton on obstruction of justice; they also indict Jimmy The Fixer for not pursuing it.

It's just pure comedy gold. And they try so hard. I mean they have no clue about reality or how the law works or government works, but their puppet masters keep pulling them strings and they keep going at it. I've never seen anything more embarrassing in my life for such trivial little things. But Trump loves his supporters weak and uneducated, so it';s not a surprise they think this stuff is important. Republicans have literally become a burden on America and our future.

    - - - Updated - - -

I haven't read anything about the little c issue. To be honest, I don't really care, because of how silly it is. And yes, I expect Republicans to be just as pathetic the next 4 years during Hillary's Presidency than they have been the last 8 years. Probably even more pathetic.

Nope she's not a liar. I'm sure she repeated a story she heard growing up. Glad we cleared that up

Give him some sympathy. He posts on here 18 hours a day saying the same thing over and over again. (Sounding like a republican repeating himself saying benghazi!!!)

You mean that moment not a single person believes you aren't reading every post I make, lol. When I ignore someone, I don't even put someone on ignore, I just don't read what they write because I don't care. You obviously care about me a little bit. Just admit it.

The FBI Director, Jimmy The Fixer, is just as corrupt as the rest of them. And this is becoming widely known:
    !~
More than 60 percent of Americans believe Clinton is not honest or trustworthy. The FBI interview notes provide further convincing evidence that she is a liar and a cheat. The kid gloves treatment she got from the FBI — no recordings, allowing aide and co-conspirator Cheryl Mills in the interview — confirm the impression, created by the intended-to-be-secret meeting of Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch days before, that the fix was in. So does the fact that Clinton and her aides in court-ordered interviews claimed loss of memory 378 times.

your general tone, and the sign of someone that is very insecure about their position. If I were you, I would wait to mature a little before offering to improve someones education. You communicate like someone that is very young and insecure. When someone destroys evidence, they are hiding something. Your denial of that makes you a less than credible source for anything on the subject. You are no different than most republicans on this board, you will blindly defend your party regardless of the evidence.

You keep using the word tiny, because you think it diminishes the importance of its meaning which is a sign of insecurity (pun intended) in your argument. That "tiny" c is a symbol for classified, which is a big deal when you have access to classified information, regardless of whether it is a lowercase c or an uppercase c. If she didn't know what the "tiny" c meant, then she shouldn't have been using it, which is a sign of being irresponsible. Go ahead and defend her some more with your "lol"'s and "hahahahahahahahaha"s. If you insist on sounding like a teenage girl on snapchat, do not be surprised when other laugh at your claims of being so smart and educated.

The only reason you are celebrating a criminals ability to game our system is because said criminal represents your political party. Do you know what it means when someone calls you a partisan?

Bingo. In just a few hours comey made the FBI an American joke. He made the once proud FBI the figurehead of government corruption. Right now the IRS is celebrating that another govt body besides them is in the spotlight

Sorry, but what else is he going to say? That he screwed up? That he was TOLD to find nothing? My bet is on the latter. All we need to know is that the fix was in after the Clinton-Lynch tarmac tete-a-tete. That should be obvious to even those with half a brain. Comey must now defend himself because he was bought...if Trump wins, I wonder if he will tell the truth...and then resign...

I wonder if you are at all bothered by the fact that you'd be in jail -right now- for doing the exactly what Clinton did.

I'm gonna venture a guess of .. no.

In terms of the politics of the intervention, ie the FBI is all part of the Clinton machine, his defence isn't very convincing:

Well that's a neat move, claiming you already knew what you'd be accused of, and so hopefully grabbing a large slice of the moral high ground. Is it that complex? - he was willing to put himself open to accusations of Democrat complicity simply to avoid somehow feeling "tainted by politics"? Really? That altruistic?

Or was it just a stunt to take the heat off Clinton? I suppose others will judge.

If that's a reference to former FBI chiefs who've panned his behaviour, it's a rather hyperbolic and childish way of putting it on the part of such an apparently saintly man who is prepared to risk accusations of his on integrity so as to not be tainted by corrupt thoughts, as per his justification above.

This is all a side issue compared to the actual case against Clinton, but it isn't much of a step to conclude from the above that this character is a committed Democrat supporter.

I imagine the nuclear codes are relatively short, certainly in comparison to their global impact. Size isn't everything.

Was it a lie, or incompetence? Do either of those matter?

One lie is only one part of the bigger picture created of a woman who may be demonstrably unfit for office on the basis of the whole episode - lies / incompetence, deletions, destructions and mafia-like memory lapses when testifying under oath. It all smells very bad, which is why the opposition is camping out on it and why her supporters are almost hysterical in the attempted defences. But you can't defend against the smell.

Thanks for the detailed post. This should worry people. Republicans can happily worry about it in as public a way as possible, but it should provoke Democrats to worry at least in private if nothing else. The fact that the "elite" is apparently happy to brush the misdemeanors of its own under the carpet is dangerous. It smacks of demagoguery when the powerful can be not held to account.
