I don't buy it. Trump will lead to a gradual loss of gun rights. He doesn't have the love of gun rights to fight for it. Heck, he's already backed down on "the Wall" his main election point during the primaries. Hillary will guarantee tough opposition by Republicans. Nothing she proposes on guns will ever get through Congress. The Republicans in Congress will have no problem going after her to stop gun control. When Trump proposes "common sense" gun control, they will have less to fight against. That said, I'm voting for neither of them. Neither have the minimum qualifications for being President--which is being a decent person. Even Obama had that. (I despise his politics, but I think he's a decent man. Trump and Hillary are not decent people.).

The only one I can remember is that Reagan (in his senility) backed the Assault Weapons ban of 1994. Please show proof of the rest. You tend to go buy what you think, rather than facts, so show us the facts.

Decent people or not.... one of them WILL be our next president.
If the dems gain control of congress, she will have no resistance to achieving what she has vowed regarding gun control. Her justice appointments will change gun rights for generations to come.
I understand your concern about Trump, but your distrust of him regarding gun rights are just your speculation. There is no proof. Yet.
She however has stated that she will attack our 2A for sure.

We have two seriously flawed candidates and one will become President. For me it comes down to progressive values vs conservative values. Or maybe better stated would be progressive vs not progressive.

Trump has a NYC concealed carry license, maybe lots of others too, non resident, perhaps he owns homes in lots of other States too, giving him as a property owner, the ability to apply for concealed carry as a resident.

Exactly. She doesn't need congress if she can get the SCOTUS to legislate her progressive agenda from the bench.

Not to mention both his sons are apparently big 2A supporters.

I also don't understand the logic of:

Candidate A: Will DEFINITELY attack gun ownership with all their ability
Candidate B: Is unknown on stance, yet has professed to support the 2A, and has been endorsed by the NRA

    I'm gonna vote for A!

    I do not get it.

Then you choose Hillary by Defacto, since not voting is still voting by default.

Your non vote will count as an Anti Gun vote.

Gee, thanks for helping the wrong side and helping errode our gun Rights.

Regardless of my views California will vote Hillary Clinton. Each candidate will strive to achieve their agenda on gun control. Their success will depend on how well they work with other people and if he or she can persuade the American people to his or her view.It is my opinion that people like Ted Cruze and Jeb Bush fell like the party has been hijacked, and their opinion would carry more meaning if they had not lied about supporting the nominee. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the peoples choice and any other candidate will not be president.

I guess the choice comes down to government control of self control.
