Part of man's idea is creating man-god. That is why God came to us as Jesus Christ and for that He was rejected for sharing the truth, for teaching us to love one another, for teaching us about humility, peace not war, submission and complying to man's authority was not enough they had Jesus executed and they tried to eradicate Jesus being, humanity and history.

All quite untrue. I don't know why you insist on repeating these falsehoods. There are no historical records of a Jesus of Nazareth, and the gospels are too contradictory and fantastical in nature to be taken as historical.

No I am not kidding you and when it come to the quantum theory you get strange results all over the place then add in dark matter and dark energy to the mixed.

But then I think of the idea of some silly god waving his arms creating a universe out of nothing at all is far far stranger then quantum mechanic and the universe being born out of some small quantum flux event.

footnote as far as some of the new theories dealing with the universe I love the idea if you take all the kinds of energies contain in the universe and sum them up you get a zero results.

As I had stated before we are living in a strange and wonderful universe but I question if it is so very strange that some personal human type god have anything to do with it.

The problem is that it's very difficult to comprehend what "nothing" is and what its properties are. Right now most places in the universe contain something but there are huge voids of "nothing". They haven't produced hydrogen. If it was possible to monitor those voids long enough we would see them produce detectable hydrogen and later on, stars.

Give an sample of the evidence he lists.

So its easier for you to believe nothing itself created something than it is for a supernatural intelligent being to create something out of nothing. Got it.

So you believe in something without evidence.

LOL it is a scientific theory or theories subject to verification or rejection as means of testings are develop and not a fairy tale of some super being not bound to the rules of the universe in fact the rules of the universe is at his or her or it whim according to the fairy tale.

We just found proof of gravity waves and are trying various means to detect and ID dark matter and doing research into vacuum energy and so on.

Not fairy tales but science instead.

I think you know, the healing part is not what I resent. Jezes marvelled at the centurion, for having obedient slaves. If Jezus is all that is good, would he not condemn the centurion for having slaves?

Besides, not once in the whole NT does Jezus condemn slavery. Not. Once. Slaves are talked about often, but the whole act isn't condemned. You'd almost think the Bible/NT should be read in context of the times it was written...

Maybe that is how the process of creation begun. God did not just created things instantly chances are God created things by starting with a process this goes back to Einstein quote:
I want to know how God created this world. I'm not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details.

Luke 7
2A centurion there had a slave whom he valued highly, and who was ill and close to death.

3When he heard about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders to him, asking him to come and heal his slave.

4When they came to Jesus, they appealed to him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy of having you do this for him,

5for he loves our people, and it is he who built our synagogue for us.”

6And Jesus went with them, but when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to say to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof;

7therefore I did not presume to come to you. But only speak the word, and let my servant be healed.

8For I also am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this,’ and the slave does it.”

9When Jesus heard this he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, he said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.”

10When those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave in good health.

Jesus did not praise or was marvelled by the centurion nor did Jesus ignored the slave but rather he made the centurion realized and recognized what it means the rewards for being good, the centurion even with his wealth and power he humble himself to Jesus instead of ordering Jesus to heal his slave or to discard the slave like a commodity.

And for Jesus to respond and to heal the slave and for a Roman centurion who have humble himself to a Jew and praise Jesus for responding to his request is this wrong is this what makes others hate Jesus?

What is slavery? Are we not all slaves, slaves to our greed, to our power, to vanity, to earthly desires?
Jesus said: "My Kingdom is not of this world"

Where did God (or the Gods) tell us all about himself ? In stories written by humans thousands of years ago ?

Let's give you the benefit of the doubt .. The Prophet Muhammad tells us many things about God. Is this who we are to believe ?

Jesus of Nazareth is as real as Julius Cesar, to deny openly and irrevocably that Jesus of Nazareth is not real or not historical facts or to to claim that the Gospels are too contradictory and fantastical is the same as saying the holocaust and all the records, photos and evidences as witness by many including by Eisenhower are all not real.
“Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”

People lie and make up stuff all the time. Just because you see some blurry pictures are read some stories doesn't mean that it's true. In fact, the best way to sell a lie is to make up "evidence" to support the lie.

Even if Jesus was a real person and did a thing or two that's attributed to him, so what? He said that if a person has faith and doesn't doubt that the person could do all kinds of miracles greater than his. So why hasn't anyove ever been able to command a tree to uproot itself and do as it was told to do? Has anyone told a mountain to jump into the sea and the mountain did it? So it's obvious that no one has ever really believed Jesus or that he was lying or else the story is just make-believe. That was the criteria Jesus gave so that people would know that he was real. Right now the score is 0 to the -1 quintillion power.

No, there really is comparison between a religious fable and the Holocaust.

And people continue to lie that is why we have recorded factual books so that people will know.
Eisenhower are all not real.
“Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”

Faith is just one part of reality, actual events confirm faith is real.
We are now able to move trees and mountains in fact we are now able to transform deserts into fertile lands, send man to out space, they laugh once upon a time when they heard man can fly or that we can communicate wirelessly, or that leprosy has a cure because of faith and belief in God we are now able to do accomplish all those.

- - - Updated - - -

Religious fables are myth while the holocaust and Christ are real.

It's kinda rude to for an anonymous somebody on the Internet to tell another anonymous somebody on the Internet to read an at least 200 page book to prove the point of the first anonymous somebody on the Internet. Give me a specific example and I can judge for myself if the book is worth my time.

What makes intelligent design a fairy tale especially since scientists are essentially theorizing just that? They are working on the theory that we are in a hologram.

You're the one who opined abut Krauss' book. And it turns out, not surprisingly, that you haven't even read it.

I'm not your research assistant. Read it yourself.

Just give me one example. If not then for all intents and purposes you have offered no evidence.

I made no claim, Sparky. You have me confused with another poster concerning something from nothing and Krauss' book. I simply wanted to find out if you have read it. You haven't, yet you have an opinion about his writings. Fancy that.

Your little rabbit hole is quite full.

Tell us the part again about how all fossils were created by the Noachian Flood and how a refuted creationist canard about WWII airplanes being covered on a glacier in Greenland is evidence supporting your claim and further demolishes all scientific dating methods.. That was some funny stuff.

Close but not quite. Christ is no more real than Hercules, but both have been considered historical at some point by some people. The Christ myth is central to Christianity, a major world religion. This makes a damned lot of the world biased and unfortunately willing to give this character the benefit of the doubt. Hercules would still be considered real today had his cultural and religious tradition grown to such proportions and lasted to the modern day, with people like you believing in his miracles and making the same arguments on his behalf.

I'll just put this here. Spoiler: Jesus was real a real guy.

I will say find it hilarious that a religion that persecuted science and learning for so long needs its help to prove it's origins. Because you know, people weren't allow to read and write (*)(*)(*)(*) down.

Everyone except atheist knows that Hercules, Thor or Odin are myth and every historians, scientist, philosophers and scholars knows and accept the historicity of Jesus Christ and God. Hercules becomes real through people's imagination to the point that they worship themselves and create man-gods that is why God came to us personally as Jesus Christ to let reveal to us the truth and educate us.

Sadly, there still exist many deniers not only do they deny God but they deny everything that is good they deny that Hitler is evil they deny that the holocaust is myth created by enemies of Hitler.

Thanks to recorded facts we know and we continue to share the truth.
Eisenhower are all not real.
“Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”

Abraham Lincoln: In regard to this Great Book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good the Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it.
