Yeah Trump was correct.....the obvious obstruction with the State Dept, The FBI, and Clinton Campaign should have been a major clue that you could even figure out.

Your opinion is about as valid right now as anybody's because at this point in time everything is just speculation. I did read that some of the emails involve Huma sending classified info on her Yahoo email address but can't even be sure that is true or just speculation.

 

You brought up a good point.

Yes, he should be a G-Man first and foremost. But he isn't. He's a lawyer. He worked for the AG most of his life, but he was never an FBI agent. Sure, as a U.S. attorney he prosecuted cases. But he didn't "grow up" with the motivation to make cases. It's investigators that do that. And he wasn't raised in that institutional environment of going out and making cases. He never did the work that goes into making cases. He didn't grow up with the pride of making a good case with that FBI stamp on it.

He enjoyed success in his career, but it wasn't political really. He just prosecuted and supervised prosecutors eventually.

And when he was appointed FBI Director, things went smoothly until a case became political ... and he caved. When we needed a true G-man, he caved, because he never was one.

So, somebody supposedly comes up with more email that mentions Hilarity, but was not generated BY her, and that is supposedly the big catalyst for Comey to make this "big splash"?

What a pantload! Oh, I love it! So we have here yet another Friday afternoon headline dump that says absolutely NOTHING, but is exquisitely timed right before a weekend , right before the much-anticpated first World Series game in many decades at Wrigley Field for the Cubs , and right before Halloween, when everybody will be partying, getting drunk, and enjoying other distractions.

ALSO, not lost on me is the very real likelihood that about 1/3rd of the total vote has already been cast! But Comey and his "Keystone Cops" didn't find these Anthony Weiner/Huma emails until NOW?! Do you on the Left really think that all of us on the Right are stupid enough to take all this crap at 'face value'...? Hey -- Hilarity is going to win. You know it. I know it. Director Comey's handling of this whole situation has been rather tragic for the FBI as an organization of apolitical professionals. Hillary's actions as Secretary of State (I believe) disqualify her from our highest office, let alone a security clearance. She should've been declared ineligible to run for office by her peers, and indicted in the same fashion the average service member would have if he/she were to commit the same acts. For Comey to deliver such a scathing interpretation of her actions, then suggest no reasonable prosecutor would indict is extremely problematic. Extreme carelessness = gross negligence.

Then... here we are today. I've read that the law requires Mr. Comey say something with regard to new evidence to re-establish an otherwise closed investigation. No doubt you've already read the letter Mr. Comey sent to Congress, which would indicate that the FBI (at this point) appears to have zero idea what they have, evidenced by the disclosure that said emails may or may not be of any significance, nor do they know whether or not anything is classified. I side with both the Trump Campaign and Hillary's when they say "produce the evidence". To let what may amount to nothing linger this close to election day is just messy.

 

Yikes... Once again Hillary distinguished herself! Another first and new one for the annals of history - on Election Day we gonna have us a major party's presidential candidate under active FBI investigation...

Liberals Are Losing It After FBI Announces Hillary is Back Under Investigation.....


Liberal supporters of Hillary Clinton are losing it after FBI Director James Comey announced Friday the criminal investigation into the former Secretary of State's mishandling of classified information has been reopened.

First, lets start with campaign chairman John Podesta:

“Already, we have seen characterizations that the FBI is 'reopening' an investigation but Comey's words do not match that characterization,” Podesta wrote in a statement. “Director Comey's letter refers to emails that have come to light in an unrelated case, but we have no idea what those emails are and the Director himself notes they may not even be significant.”
He also expressed frustration at the timing of the letter from Comey to lawmakers, informing them of the new evidence.
"It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election,” he wrote, adding, “The Director owes it to the American people to immediately provide the full details of what he is now examining. We are confident this will not produce any conclusions different from the one the FBI reached in July."

Neither do I, Dutch... which is why I think this is problematic. If you have enough to say (as some are reporting) that her case should be re-opened, then you have enough to tell us why.

 

Notice how Hillary will not start accusing Comey and the FBI of being in the bag like Trump did. I also predict that Trump will cry like a little girl when Comey comes out early next week and clears Clinton
of any wrong doing in this matter. Today Trump was prancing around like a little fairy singing the praises of Comey and the FBI. When he doesn't get his way, (which would be Comey and a swat team surrounding Hillary's house and frog marching her out to a Crown Victoria) Trump will go back to calling Comey, The FBI, the media and everyone within earshot corrupt criminals who are picking on him. Trump is by far the sorriest loser in the history of world politics and his supporters are a bunch of crybabies too.

 

There was no valid reason for Comey to discuss the investigation and dump on Clinton like he did when he announced there was no basis to indict. That was improper, and a gratuitous attempt to smear Clinton when he had to admit there was insufficient evidence to charge.

And this recent, vague announcement of a re-opening the investigation without any disclosure of why, coming just days before the investigation, can only be done to hurt Clinton. Prosecutors and investigators are not to try to influence elections. The FBI could have just investigated the Weiner emails without commenting publicly. Comey must know that this kind of announcement just days before the election could have a big influence on it and could only hurt Clinton. But he did it anyway.

No Comey is in a pickle like Ive never seen before. If he did not come forward with this now and it came out AFTER the election it would look like he withheld the information to do the very thing you are accusing him of.
This would make him the most vilified person in the nation. Nope, as I predicted a couple days ago (feel free to check) the FBI lower ranks would not stand for this. Comey had to do this, or the lower ranks were going to make this public which would totally destroy him and his career. Nope, Comey was put in a no option but to do your job correctly or we will do it for you moment. Brace yourself, Comey cant cover for her anymore and he wont.

I'm-(*)(*)(*)(*)ing-possible! However the election plays out, it is a 100% certain on Election Day we will have us a major party Presidential candidate under FBI investigation. Even more interesting, if she wins, we will have us a first couple - Madam president-elect under active FBI investigation, and her impeached ex president husband dick.

He didn't provide any information. He said he doesn't know what is in the emails or whether they contain classified information.

For him to intentionally make this kind of announcement based on mere speculation which clearly designed to influence the election and hurt Clinton, as he did previously, is beyond the pale, highly improper, and a gross violation of his obligations and duty.

 

Weren't you and yours praising the FBI and calling them impartial and professional when they proclaimed Hillary to be an incarnation of Mother Theresa last July?

Did he say that or did Hillary say he said that? That's a really strange thing for the FBI to discuss the findings of an investigation with the person they are investigating during the investigation. If comey did say that to Hillary, then he needs to be immediately removed from his position and a real FBI agent should take over.
