    Nasdaq's up.
    Russel 2000 is up.
    10 year treasury is up.
    Heating oil is up.
    Gasoline is up.

What you are saying is all true, however her winning the popular vote means more voters who voted actually wanted her to win over Trump. She lost because she couldn't get the Obama coalition to support her in big numbers in key battleground states. It is amusing though that this is the second time the Democrat won the popular vote, but lost the election. Seems to be something that haunts them.

Except for the fact that Trump did no better among white voters than Romney (he actually faired slightly worse), and in fact received support that your average typical Republican candidate usually receives. This mythical fairytale going around low information right wing circles that this massive "white sleeping giant" voted for the orange idiot in historic numbers isn't backed up by the facts. Hell, he even received less overall votes than Romney.

So, despite Clinton actually receiving more votes overall than the bloated man child, she lost because she failed to get the support among key Obama coalitions in battle ground states. The minority voters and young didn't support her the way they did Obama. Had she garnered the same or even similar levels of support among those "groups", she would have been president elect, regardless of Trump's lead among white voters.

If radical Islamic terrorism doesn't exist, certainly there are no neo-Nazis and KKK.

Actually, the KKK is essential extinct and just a novelty.

Just like with Brexit, the predictions of "the market" collapsing proved wrong.

The stock market in the USA briefly dropped some - and then quickly rebounded when people realized that Trump also has a Republican Congress plus will define the majority in the Supreme Court - thus might actual be able to finally get something done to get the economy rolling again, plus get some of the regulatory oppression and taxes off their backs too.

Clinton did attract more votes than Trump, but I attribute Trump's success primarily to the Democratic Party's neglect of what had been its reliable base of white, blue collar males.

With the enfeeblement of unions and disappearance of manufacturing jobs due, primarily, to technology, they felt abandoned.

Of course, the era of well-paying manufacturing jobs is a thing of the past, but Trump gave them false hope.

Have you looked at today's revised reports of how Trump fared? The leftist 'interpretation' is not holding water. The nation is painted RED from sea to shining sea with only a few, relatively small and isolated blue enclave holdouts. That's what eight freaking years of Political Messiah Barack Obama has done TO the Dem Party. Enjoy.

What are you talking about ! WHY would you believe radical terrorism doesn't exist ?!

No matter that you believe radical terrorism doesn't exist , the KK and neo-Nazis DO exist and they LIKE TRUMP, THEY SUPPORT TRUMP because Trump is a racist. They are Trump supporters.

Ya know, Trumpers won the election, why don't they just be PROUD of what they like? What they stood for?

They LIKED Donald ridiculing the disabled...then be PROUD OF IT.

They liked Trump saying he could commit cold blooded murder and his supporters wouldn't care...be PROUD OF THAT.

They liked that Trump thought grabbing their daughters, wives and mothers by the crotch, sexually assaulting them was funny...and voted for him anyway...be PROUD OF THAT !

They liked Trump for discriminating based on religious beliefs, be PROUD of that..

They liked Trump discriminating based on color.........be proud of that!

What is wrong with Trump supporters ? They get what they want and then don't want it??? What's up with that??

^ you could dial down the anger and rhetoric and shut out the left wing "news" and maybe actually have a look at Trump's plan...

We can work together to fix this country, or spend four years complaining. I know what I'd rather do.

Some find solace in the radical rhetoric of a candidate inevitably being refined by the reality of actual governance.

For those who fear that the reality tv performer won’t be able to adapt, I note that he already has:

    .

    “The system is rigged!”
”The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy!”

His hysterical threats to enact religious discrimination, censor the free press, undertake a pogrom of ethnic cleansing, and deprive millions of Americans of the health care coverage they have finally been able to access are all defied by a wall built of the exigencies of practicality and the US's enduring mandate for human decency.

Obama kept a few things that Bush did in place. Including Bush's tax plan, and the patriot act. If I sat here and searched I'm sure there is more.

Given that there is no president in the history of the US that has totally undone everything that his predecessor did, I'm sure that's true.

    Please, try to compose yourself.

    Again,

Yeah, by around 200,000 votes give or take. They're still counting in some precincts. It comes out at the moment percentage wise Clinton 47.7, Trump 47.5, third party candidates 4.8%. Compare that to 2012 Obama 51.1, Romney 47.2, third party candidates 1.7. Then too, there has been roughly 7 million less voters this year than in 2012. I call that the dislike factor of both candidates.

I agree, Clinton lost a lot of support from the old Obama coalition. Minorities didn't support her like they did Obama. Obama received 95% of the black vote in 2012, Clinton 88% this year. Same for Hispanics, Obama 71%, Clinton 65%, Asians, Obama 72%, Clinton 65%. The white vote, Obama 39%, Clinton 37%. But Trump did worst with whites than Romney, Romney 59%, Trump 58%. Johnson, Stein and other third party candidates by drawing 3% more votes than in 2012 probably influenced a few of the real close states.

Florida, Clinton lost by 1.3, third parties drew 3.1%
Michigan, Clinton trails 0.3% if it hasn't been called yet, third parties drew 5.1%
Pennsylvania Clinton lost by 1.3, third parties drew 3.6%
Wisconsin, Clinton lost by 1.0, third parties drew 5.2%

Of course in states like Maine and New Hampshire, the third party vote was around 6% and could have cost Trump those states. Normal third party vote is between one to two percent.

Two exit polls stick out in my mind, 60% of Americans thought Clinton should have been indicted over her e-mails, out of that group, 71% voted for Trump. Obamacare, 55% of all Americans oppose it, 69% of those voted for Trump. Two hot issues the last week to two of the campaign

All the talk is that Brexit and the Trump phenomena are the results of a "global" rejection of the establishment!

From what I am seeing, there were approximately 7 million less voters this year than in 2012. That is 7 million people who voted in 2012 who didn't this year plus. That's not counting how many new eligible voters that probably should be added to that 7 million. There are around 5 million new eligible voters added every four years or presidential election.

I heard on TV that union members in the Midwest split their vote roughly 50-50 which would if true show the neglect to the blue collar worker or at least the neglect blue collar workers felt towards Clinton and the Democratic Party. Trump in this aspect may have accomplished something no other Republican could have. I'll have to wait for more exit polls to verify that.
