Senator Harry Reid came up with the nuclear option, set the precedence by using it. Schumer supported its use. Without Senator Reid using it, it wouldn't be an option next year. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If Reid and the Democrats can use it which they did, McConnell and the Republicans can too. I have no problem with that.

If Reid and the Democrats thought once they utilized Senator Harry Reid's Nuclear Option that it would be put back into the bottle never to be used again or against them, they were fools. Either that or they thought they would control the presidency and the senate forever and ever. What goes around, comes around. There were Democratic senators which warned Reid and Schumer of its use, Joe Manchin, Carl Levin and Pryor warned Reid and Schumer that once used for them, it would be used against them when a Republican occupied the White House. That time has come. If used the Democrats have only themselves to blame.
