The more they whine and riot, the more I know I voted right

I feel like a special strain of spite and revenge was cultivated in this small political community where we are posting. There were several members posting whatever kind of nonsense it took to derail threads while promoting lefty agenda, prior to the election. Those members were untouchable, and they were more vile than the average lefty that I might meet at my local grocery store. Many of them vanished after the election, but the special resentment for these folks will always be there. I am friends with, and associate with many lefties during my day, and I would never dream of talking to them the way I do with the lefties of this community, and I would be shocked to see any of these non virtual lefties speak the way forum lefties do. When I talk with real lefties out in the world, what I say to them is policed by the moral compass that I live by, but in this community it is policed by opposing authority.

I have had to learn to flush my perception of lefties down the drain when I leave this forum, because I know that the real lefties out in the real world are nowhere near as vile as the virtual ones that I deal with on a recreational discussion forum. I do take a lot of what I learn here into the real world, so I suppose you are correct that there was some spite and revenge in my vote, but nowhere near what you might suspect. Most lefties here on this forum would be shocked if they knew just how diverse my household is as far as ethnicity and politics.

False equivalency as this election was far different from the previous one. In this election we had a presidential candidate that advocated violence during the election coupled with this being the most divisive election in my over half a century lifetime.

An easy claim to make based upon an event that did not happen (Trump loosing).

Blaming violence on agitators is moot as being agitated is not a legal justification for assault and battery or the destruction of private or public property. Trump advocated violence during the campaign. Leaves me wondering what if any influence Trump's words had upon the Trump supporters who did act out violently during the election cycle.

Indeed, thus my amazement that he was elected. I am coming to the conclusion that humanity to a large degree embraces hyperbolic anecdotes over facts backed by an objective body of research.

I agree as I see Trump's core base as the 14 million that voted for him during the primaries.

There's a lot of truth in what you are saying, but I disagree in regards to the level of violence had Clinton won, it would just be reported as "Celebratory Jubilation" instead of "Rioting". The liberal/communist/blm element would still be setting things on fire and assaulting people just the same.

Nah, I voted for Trump based on his platform and I thought he would be a hoot. My only reservation was that I have never voted for a candidate that won so I thought voting for Trump might jinx it. First time for everything.

Okay, this is one of the stupidest posts I've read in the time I've been a member of this forum.

Trump Supporters seem to be one of the stupidest breeds I've ever come in contact with. You guys fell for one of the biggest scams in American history.

    1. He's not "draining the swamp." He's making his own Trump Everglades.
    2. Spews stupidity from every orifice of that fat body. Today, it was about flag burning, which is protected under the first amendment.
    3. He sold you the fairy tale promise of another country paying for a wall. Yeah, he's backpedaled on that too.
    4. Or how he beat the same dead horse over locking Hillary up. Yeah, we all knew that was hot air.

There's four reasons alone why your ilk put the entire nation at risk. Oh, and by the way lonely Nebraskan, the left aren't whining. We know this Manhattan Scammer is a con man, New Yorkers are already paying a price to protect his illegal wife, and his batsh*t ugly kids, since he feels too much separation anxiety being away from Trump Tower. Your con man ran off of fear and paranoia, opening division among people after the San Bernardino attacks, then furthering that paranoia after the attacks in Brussels and Paris. Part of the reason the guy in Ohio, who just happened to be Muslim, acted the way he did was because he felt intimidated when he prayed in public. And,, guess who has birthed that intimidation? Trump. The blood of the victims in Ohio is on your hands.

You were never right, Trump never made one, factual point during the entire campaign. Not one iota. Thanks for fu*king the next generation, thanks for fu*king those who practiced common sense and logic over anger and hate at the voting booth, you're what's wrong with this country.

Your intellectual indecency is revolting. Just like the feces-infested rug shaped like America Trump deserves. Maybe you do too.

I"m glad your voting is based on how many people you (*)(*)(*)(*) off rather than what's good for the country or anything like personal values and ethics. Good show!
