CEO of Exxon, I guess it could be worse, it could have been Interior.

I have no problem with someone who wants to be nice to the Russians.

However we should not forget our friends in Europe as well

 

I wonder if he ran all these picks past Putin first. With all of these cabinet picks being possibly the worst people for the job, I think Russia has done a bang up job putting together quite a plan to screw this country pretty badly.

Agreed, I oppose this pick. Not only is it a totally cronyist pick(the conflict of interests just got YUGER.) but it also reeks of appeasement. I said I was open to negotiation, not appeasement. Negotiation and appeasement are two different things. So I'm joining Democrats and those Republicans in rejecting this appointment. Our hands are open but not THAT open.

A great pick. I hope he gets officially confirmed sooner rather than later. Those guys will make the USA great again. No messing about. Cut the deals all over the world, and make sure America gains. Not loses like under Obama and Hillary.

There is nothing wrong with KT McFarland, nor the 3 Generals he has picked. Nor McGhan for White House Counsel. All are respected by both sides of the aisle. McGhan is acknowledged as one of the Best

Priebus for WH Chief of Staff is a good pick. I would have preferred someone from the Intel Community to head CIA but Pompeo isn't a bad pick. He did graduate from West Point #1 in his class and he got his JD from Harvard with Majoring in Law over the Intelligence Field.

If he picks Tillerson for SOS.....then he should go with Bolton as The Undersecretary. This way we can make sure Foggy Bottom is cleaned out of all of BO Peeps people and Hillary's Cult members. As Bolton will make sure they get their walking papers to that unemployment line.

Then he just needs to make sure he isn't picking Hollywood Celebs as Ambassadors.

I wouldn't put to much stock in what the illiberals are saying. As they don't know much of anything, anyways.

President-elect Donald Trump has officially chosen Exxon Mobile CEO Rex Tillerson to become the next Secretary of State. He is originally from Wichita Falls, Texas and has been in the oil business for four decades.

Tillerson has also been praised by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and others. He was reportedly recommended to Trump as a candidate for the high profile position by former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.
