You still believe in polls? If there was one you shouldn't believe, it's Obama's approval ratings numbers.... Obama has divided this nation more than any other president in my lifetime. He started as soon as he got into office. Unless you were born yesterday, you know that we have deteriorated badly under Obama both nationally and internationally.

It seems actively seeking to mitigate problems with racism has led to the very deep divide we see today, along with all the other politically correct fads. The nation is more deeply divided that I have ever seen, including the Vietnam era.

I don't think a reconciliation is possible at all, I blame the liberals who were the authors of change. The change they wrought brought division.

Trump is undoubtedly a divisive figure, but it is important to understand that he is a symptom of the divide, not the author of it.

Liberals thought that if they repressed conservatives long enough and hard enough they would disappear. Instead conservativism metastasized into populism and not just in the US but in Europe, too. Liberals have sown the wind and will now reap the whirlwind.

 

You didn't disparage Mrs. Trump for for her career choice? Did you not imply that posing partially nude, in what you describe as a lesbian scene was improper? Which do you find offensive ... her craft, her nudity, or lesbians in general?

 

In the past the discussion about race was forward looking. During Obama's presidency the left wing message has been backward looking.

Actually the fist bump was indicative of the petty childish president and first lady that we would have to suffer through for the next eight years. From Obama saying "I won" and refusing to work with Republicans to Michelle's recent Oprah no hope interview. Immaturity on display.

 

Let's just see if Trump even takes office first. I have a bad feeling something is going to happen first, such as WW3! Obama said this year, "I will win the war on Christmas." What does that mean? No way he's referring to those who oppose Christmas. After-all, he lit the white house up as a rainbow, to honor gay marriage. The rainbow is a sign of God's promise to man. Obama used it for an abomination, literally spitting in God's face. So what does he mean by "win the war on Christmas"?

With $20 trillion of Federal debt, on top of State, local, business and individual debt we are most definitely experiencing feelings of hopelessness our children will face if we don't begin to take action to correct the mistakes of past governance. Government at each and every level needs to become budgeted based on available means, including the reduction of debt owed.
