The person who got the most votes did win. Only the states get to vote for president. Mr.Trump won 30, Hillary 20.

Ever notice how both sides dwell on irrelevant crap like whether there are people on the other side of the aisle who behave poorly rather than the actual merit of actual policy issues? For better or worse, a lot is going on in the white house. And THIS is what right wingers find relevant?

They went around the bend on election night. They've gone way past the point of no return now. The lunacy has only just begun. It's going to get even worse.

Don't be so blatantly obtuse. The candidate who received the popular votes in the states that mattered most won. That's democracy. Nobody cares that 60% of California and New York prefer Hillary over Donald. There's a reason those two FUBAR states don't make our decisions for us.

I think the person who won by the established rules should win. Trump won by the established rules. In every state he won, he got more votes than Hillary Clinton. He was therefore awarded the electoral votes of that state - you know, like the rules establish. Hillary did not win according to the rules. She lost.

The popular vote is irrelevant and, based on the fact that Trump campaigned according to the rules and won, he would have won against Crooked Hillary had the rules provided the national popular vote winner was the winner.

Come on,now. Say it with me. PRESIDENT DONALD J TRUMP. Winner!!!!!

Truths may or may not be relevant. For the sake of argument I was assuming this story is true, and then pointing out that it's irrelevant because we already knew there are unreasonable people on both sides. But truths are not something a Trump supporter should claim to care about. Clinton was a very average politician. She was simply better than Trump... but then again, the average person, let alone the average politician, probably would be better than Trump by doing less damage to our economy, our environment, and national security.

This shouldn't be treated as a game. But really the fact that even a large proportion of America voted for Trump tells me that America deserves what it's going to get. To borrow a Trump tactic... just like Germans before WWII, though I certainly hope the consequences won't be on quite that level and they could get much worse. Losing our status as the world's main superpower, and another recession are more likely.

Whoa...the majority of Americans actually don't like that idiot, and they DON'T deserve what they are going to get. That a small but vocal minority of morons voted for that clown...is on them. I suspect if Trump ends up being bad, Trump and his supporters will end up getting punished...in the voting booths in 2018, and especially 2020.

In fact, support for Trump seems to be surging.

“Americans are looking for Trump to put his slogan into action: 61 percent said they agreed with Trump's plan that the federal government should "buy American and hire American."

The old woman asked, "Do you believe in gravity?"

One look at the old bat would seem to put the issue at rest.

California and New York are 2 fubar states?
Them 2 states are 1/5 of the US economy. How about they get 20% of all the votes since the rest is just hanging in there?

Try and follow the Constitution. All of the votes cast for her were counted. Those votes helped her win 20 states.

Good point. She just had a death in the family and she's so distraught about it that her main priority is picking a fight over politics with a complete stranger on the flight to the funeral. WTF is wrong with liberals? She's just another in a never ending line of proof that all liberals a psychologically damaged goods.
