Regardless of what the KGB/FSB are actively working on Trump will not be removed from office absent solid proof that he is an agent of Russia. Neither the CIA nor the Media have enough credibility left to make that case.

I think that's called treason, and of course any member of the armed forces plotting or partaking in such a coup should be drummed out of camp in front of the troops, stripped of their citizenship and hanged.

Emphasis on the end result. The American people are very hostile to standing army interference in the electoral politics.

George Washington had a LGBT guy drummed out of his camp. You confuse traitors with patriots.

    What "we"?

Some of us are very happy with the outcome. Don't speak for all of America please.

This will never be my vote in the poll. Nothing is clear about 3-4 weeks. Then in finish lines USA has new leader in white house. It's clear from my destany.

I fully support all that he's said, except for expanding our 10x too big already military. He's not going to be impeached, cause any Republican who votes to do so will be committing political suicide. The Republicans hold, and will continue to hold, majorities in both houses of our Congress. Lefties are deluded when they "think" that we are not going to make them EAT it hence-forward.

I have no greater desire right now than to go back to all that controversy about Trump not automatically accepting the election result, and give them posts like this.

The hypocrisy is stunning. Now you want military coups? Worked for Clinton in Honduras I suppose.

It does not 'take a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing'.

“A new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll shows that the new president’s message is resonating with voters, refuting the idea that Trump bungled his first speech as commander in chief.
Trump got relatively high marks on his Friday address, with 49 percent of those who watched or heard about the speech saying it was excellent or good, and just 39 percent rating it as only fair or poor. Sixty-five percent of those surveyed reacted positively to the “America First” message, the cornerstone of the Trump campaign and governing posture.” POLITICO, Poll: Voters liked Trump’s ‘America first’ address, By JAKE SHERMAN 01/25/17.

There is no significant popular opposition to Trump now.

an impeachment is not the same as a coup, a coup is not possible since President Trump is the commander in chief of the military.

republicans wouldn't support an impeachment because he made their party legitimate, they had no chance of winning for the next 30 years without him.

To Great Britain he was a traitor. That said, he wasn't part of their armed forces at the time he went into revolution.

Here's another thread that is nothing more than another tiresome masturbation of hatred for President Trump. Ten working days on the job and the hyperlibs are out in the streets with pitchforks and torches, calling for his impeachment. What a pack of howling hyenas.... Keep it up, adult-children, your defeat in 2016 is only a foretaste of what is coming if you continue to cling to the surreal circuits that make up your silly little socialist fairyland....

[IMG]. "Trump has funny-looking hair... IMPEACH HIM NOW!"

So many advantages to a coup, like being able to rewrite the constitution to prohibit taxes.

They won't. Trump is a president, not a dictator. He can't make any of those things happen on his own. Especially if any of them violate law (theft for example).

A coup d'etat is a criminal act, a violent one. There are ways to respond to each of these suggestions without resorting to violent crime.
