Politically-charged speeches at SAG Awards take aim at Trump

I don't think this comes as a surprise to anybody.

After all Hollywood halfwits regularly embarrass themselves while spewing their radical bigotry on political issues.

But I found two things comical about this article.

The first was that one of these actors considered themselves to be a "craftsmen".

They aren't craftsmen.

They are reading lines other people wrote, standing in scenes other people constructed, and made to look and sound great by the technical work other people put in.

(btw none of those people were invited to this lil' shindig, nor do they have their own dedicated award galas, hows that for being "inclusive")

If there ever was truth to the "you didn't build that" meme, its apparent in the mentality of actors.

The second was how the supposed "best supporting actor" was somebody who obviously only won the award because of the identity complex of the role.

Of course this too comes as no surprise as any movie/tv show that panders to identity instantly wins these sorts of "awards" regardless of things such as critical reception, box office totals, and public opinion.

So no, I'm not surprised a bunch of self-righteous radicals took shots at the President from within their little elitist circle-fap and I'm guess none of you are either.

After all their view of the world is that securing a nation and protecting lives is "racist".

 

Let `em have their moment of glory in the spotlight...

... things will soon change...

... when the weather warms up.

 

Things will change, yes, but not for the better.

Consider: as the weather becomes warmer it will unavoidably easier to smell them....

 

Why do actors give themselves awards every weekend? Oh yeah,,,,,, they participated. Good for them cupcakes.

 

Waiting for the academy to present awards for best performances in the "self righteous indignation" category.

 

No doubt on its way. May need to squeeze that in on a Wednesday night.

 

Do they actually think anyone that wasn't at that awards ceremony gives a damn about what they had to say?

Nothing makes me laugh more than multi millionaire championing the little guys about how the rich is boning them and then cry like a baby when someone downloads their song, movie, picture without "PAYING" them royalties

Liberal Hypocrisy, starts at the top and is liberally squirted down all over their gullible admirers/pets, and they at their every word!

 

Well, think about it this way. Actors are professional pretenders. At some point, isn't it logical that that level of self absorption and pretentiousness intersect to produce this kind of inbred hyperbole?

Don't actors have more to worry about these days? You know, like making sure the gates they live behind are secured and they're able to never interact with the unwashed? The activism doesn't whitewash the blatant hypocrisy of the way they actually live their lives.

 

They are preaching to the choir. It's their feel-good moment. Nobody outside their community gives a crap what they think or say. They are completely, 100% irrelevant. If they voted, they had their chance. They don't get more chances. They lost. They failed.

Oh, well!

 

Yes Sir, the best conmen/Women Juilliard and money can create! Lets hope politicians dont start incorporating this into their portfolio's, hell who am I kidding, politicians are born Liars

 

Actors know as much about politics as any electrician, fireman, or baseball player. They have no special insight.

In fact, they're living in a fantasy world and their opinions should matter less than those of the average person.

 

Disgusting. While they live in their million dollar homes and don't have a clue about reality, we have idiots like these two who look absolutely ridiculous and laughable.




If these people want to let refugees in, they should put them up in one of the rooms of their own houses. You'll never see them doing that though, they'll just cry about us not wanting refugees here. Stupid asses.

Considering the incredible uproar every time one of them says something...

...I think there are lots of people who "give a damn."

I think you give a damn.

I think most of the Trump supporters here give a damn.

And I, for one, get a huge kick out of people filled with indignation for the remarks...who claim that no one gives a damn.

 

Trust me, nobody gives a damn, and we proved it back in November. Calling out their double standards, stupidity, and failure to see reality doesn't mean we give a damn what they say.

Look at all the celebrities that made their dumb anti Trump videos prior to the election. Did that keep him from becoming president? Nope!

They're still at it with more dumb videos and protests. Is that going to prevent Trump from doing what those who voted for him want him to do ? Nope!

It's surprisingly applicable to today, and they rip both sides so hard.

"I don't give a damn" said the way you folk are doing...translates into, "I give a damn...and I give a damn with all my heart and soul."
