It seems that I have also underestimated the amount of hyperbole that can be stirred up among irrational humans.

Oppose him when he does something unconstitutional not when he does something she disagrees with because of politics or personal feelings. Again I ask where did and when if ever di Holder or Lynch oppose Obama ? They covered up for him and Hillary. You coulnt find two more partisan AGs

Who cares. This is about America. We'll babysit you after we sort our own problems out. I'm sure you can manage being self sufficient for a little while. I know a lot of people across the pond and they're all capable of it. Stop relying on us to pamper you.

Democrats eagerly approved this entire same thing during the Obama era. And they never saw that narcissist as dangerous. Funny innit?

Hand, again we're not the world's babysitters. Trump is the president of the USA.

What would you like for him to do for you?

Ummm...NO, Penrod. Not when he does something unconstitutional.

More like: Opposes him when you think he asks for something improper.

Here's one of Sessions questions, "Do you think the attorney general has a responsibility to say no to the president if he asks for something that's improper?"

    She answered, "Yes."

With regard to the Trump EO, she did think what he was asking for was improper.

    She said "No."

I am pretty sure she knew what the price was going to be...and she accepted that.

Beats me. I'm not a Democrat.

Although as an Independent...I never considered Barack Obama as a narcissist. Not even close.

neither are Lindsey Graham, John McCain and Mitt Romney but that does not stop them from saying and doing stupid things on almost a daily basis. Are they your heroes ?

What Trump did was neither improper , illegal or unprecedented . Just the lap dog media, neo cons and the dems are doing their smear campaign for the low info crowd . If thats the crowd you run with then go for it but you are hardly independent in your posts

Never, exactly. So sit back and chill... Be glad we have someone that actually cares about fulfilling what he promised. The things you consider "moronic" are the same things that got him elected by the people. And don't give me the popular vote BS, everyone knows California is strongly against him and accounts for around 10 million or more votes.

Don't think for one second Sessions wouldn't get canned for not doing his job either, and I'll feel the exact same way.

Wait, how is her duty to the citizens of other countries? Does Trump have a duty to citizens of other lands? I need that explained.

The order has no impact on we citizens.

I think whats getting lost here is that Trump apparently didn't ask his AG if the EO would be legal. OR, if he did he ignored what she told him.

Either way this should raise some eyebrows as to how he is proceeding with his presidency.

I really don't have a problem with the temp ban he put in place, what I have a problem with is his use of EO's. I didn't like them when Obama used them. But what I really don't like is Trump is starting off using them, he isn't even trying to get legislation, he is starting off with EO's. Thats scary folks.....

NO, i think they are talking about the powers enumerated to the office via the constitution. If something they propose in an EO violates a current law, than it is illegal.

I do think that he overstepped by not allowing detainees access to proper counsel. You can correct me if I'm wrong, but everyone, including foreigners have a right to counsel when charged or detained.

    No...they are not my heroes.

Why are you preaching to me about that?

I have said that firing Sally Yates was not improper, not illegal...and certainly not unprecedented.

    So what is your problem?

    They're doing that for you???

    Who woulda thunk it.

    I said I am not a Democrat...and I am NOT.

I said I am an Independent (capital "I")...and I AM.

    What is your problem?

So what are you complaining about. She admits is a lawful order but refuses to enforce it on personal grounds and gets fired. She was grandstanding

The you are not very independent . I could claim Im independent as Im a libertarian and vote that way however I am a conservative and proud of it. I dont like either of the major parties

You seem pretty liberal to me

    - - - Updated - - -

Like I said Im not a republican but I am a hard core conservative. He is no more independent than I am

    - - - Updated - - -

Do you consider yourself liberal or progressive. Again your no more independent than I am

When arrested and charged not when detained. They have the time to determine whether or not you should be arrested . The question is how long is reasonable for this. In most police cases its 15 or 20 minutes.

In fact DOJ lawyers helped write the EO

The better question is what longterm impact will Trump's policies have upon us? Perhaps a discussion we can have a little under four years from now. While I do respect Trump doing what he said he was going to do, I am not sure his methods will yield positive results... time will tell.

They don't even have a legal status for due process to even apply to :D. Her ruling was at best inconclusive and at worst too rushed. That's why it was only partial to begin with. If informed of the criteria, it didn't even have to go to Court to begin with. You should be upset that you're paying for half-assed judges with your taxpayer dollars.

America first. How many countries in the world wrap their foreign/immigration policy around what we say or do?

The thing I have against the Patriot Act namely, is the 'indefinite' part, and certain parts of it also violate the 4th Amendment if I recall correctly. And yet, the law somehow passed 'muster'. We Americans should seriously scrutnize these "judges" more and more, as not only are they unelected but they're also incompetent. The job is as simple as reading and interpreting English. Not even coded English, just Old English.
