Almost my entire life, mixing cultures to become uniquely American was promoted. Only recently has multiculturalism been promoted. More and more, it has been demanded to adjust to various cultures as opposed to promotion of assimilation. This has corresponded with media constantly spreading disdain for the American culture. Fact is, the American culture had too many aspects that did not lend to easy control. Multiculturalism is just a weapon used against the libertarian concepts within the American culture.

 

If you think about the demographics, a lot of Democrats voted for Republicans in the last election. The bit about healthcare is comical. Then, you float out the boogey man "Greed" while promoting illegal immigration. What a joke.

I agree that ignoring the statutes from the 1800s involving proper horse securing measures in the downtown areas is common sense, but you can't ignore immigration laws.

I like how you simultaneously think that they are so stupid that they cannot understand democracy, while at the same time you think they're so smart that they're going to drag you down to their level and control everything in your life. Of course to do that they would have to somehow convert half of our voting population, because that is actually how democracy works. In fact they would have to hope that power for a very very long time, because that's how our system works. This is why Trump doesn't get his way just because he won the election.

 

I'm not saying that you shouldn't worry about it. I'm just saying that it's not the number one threat to Americans. We do things to prevent murder too, and we do lots of things to prevent terrorist from coming into our country. It's really not the action so much as the attitude. People need to stop vilifying things and exaggerating things. Right now on this forum there should be about 1 thread about Islamic terrorism and 30 threads about Healthcare.

I'm not defending any illegal immigrants or any illegal activity. What I'm doing is I'm showing you what the major problems are. And I'm telling you that is probably a better idea to focus on the major problems then the 0% problems.

 

Again I gain nothing and I lose nothing from immigrants other than maybe some good restaurants. So yeah I'm young I'm naive I care about things like principles and what this country's future will look like. And I know for certain that what's going to happen is that there's going to be a giant wall that's going to symbolize all of the hate that white people have for other races, and that will come at a time when white people are minority.

I don't resent being called a racist, because that is truly what I am. However, I do see that when a liberal calls me that, it is an attempt to bully me into submission. I do not appreciate this.

You are making the false assumption that the majority of support for stringent enforcement of immigration laws is based upon murder rates. There are a lot reasons.

 

I don't know anybody who believes that Islamic terrorism is the number one threat to Americans. However, it IS a threat, and if the President believes that threat to be serious enough, the President is well within his rights (as the holder of that office) to place a temporary ban on travel from seven countries. Period. Those who disagree with that statement are wrong, and the Supreme Court will eventually tell them that that's the way it is.

Perhaps you should be addressing why this not-so-serious Executive Order is getting so much play on the media, why it has caused crazy airport protests to break out, and why it has resulted in the Ninth Circuit issuing an insane ruling. Perhaps that's the "attitude" we need to be most concerned about.
