Obarry is the guy that set the tempo for this type of nonsense, Obarry watched Putin invade and did nothing but puff his bottom lip out and make empty threats. Obarry made a strong nation look weak and now Trump will have to risk encounter or continue to play the OBarry wussy game :(

The question of OP is whether Trump's going to look in the direction of Ukraine after his honeymoon with Putin is over. Console him, please.

Turks did it and after that their economy went down the drain, their main industry destroyed, their president could have been overthrown in a coup, the country could have been plunged in civil war just like Ukraine, all strategic partners (Europe, The US and Russia) turned away from Turkey and in the end of all this show the president of Turkey had to crawl to Moscow with apologies. Wanna try?
I heard Obama was flipping from "Russia is a weak state which produces nothing" to "Russia influenced and faked elections in our greatest country of the world".

He hasn't called me this morning, yet, until then I'm going to leave speculation to the MSM and those that parrot their guesses and assumptions.

I don't know what you mean by "Trump will have to risk encounter" could you explain that a bit?

There is the rub! No right answer, but at the very least, pointing out that the US will not tolerate any disrespect in regards to proper peacetime conduct.

Although in a perfect world, I would want to see that maneuver from Top Gun. Keeping up foreign relations, you know, giving him the bird?

    That would be sweet :)

In all honesty this buzz was probably a calculated act to show how little Russia respects Trump, in an effort to convince mooks that Putin and Trump aren't besties.

I can see it now, next time someone points out some pro-russia policy-

"He's not in bed with Putin! Remember the Buzz? Why would he let that happen if they are best friends huh!?"

I believe he answered by saying NOT what Obama did.
I thought you guys were of the opinion that Trump and the Russians were in collusion. I take it you wish now to recend that position? I will await your apology for commiting libel against your CiC.
    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...py-ship-lenov-connecticut-press-a7584606.html

I think that therein lies your answer. He will let them sabre rattle, and test him, like mosquitos. He will attempt to negotiate deals with Putin. He will not react to these incidents, but he will absolutely swat the Iranians out of the water if they continue their behavior.

What would you like him to do?

Nope, it's more than clear! Feel free to add whatever "Encounter" you like there is no shortage of them to choose from, maybe you'll guess right and maybe you'll guess wrong as for me I'm going to give Trump and all his generals time to assess this very sensitive problem.

Take a look at post #14 in this thread.

I called it! Though took less time than I thought.

There is no Russia/ Trump collusion! They buzzed our navy! The buzz supports a VAST conspiracy as much as it dismisses it.

To your question though, I think there is some very shady things going down between Trump and Putin. I haven't reached an opinion that reaches far behind that; I don't believe in some VAST conspiracy, but signs could be taken that way have presented themselves. Time will tell.

Libel isn't expressing opinions on a political forum.
If it is, since I haven't opined anything on the subject of TrumPutin* until now, I would accept your apology for libeling me.

There is my answer. Thanks chum! It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the buzzer specifically so only partial credit for you. It is illuminating however.

    From the article

The greatest thing I could do is shoot that ship that’s 30 miles offshore right out of the water,” he said. “Everyone in this country is going to say, ‘ohh, it’s so great'. That’s not great. That’s not great."

Who the heck is "Everybody" and can he or she please stop talking to the CiC?

Humor aside, who does Don think thinks it would be great to risk war with Russia? Who even opined it? Is he so ludicrously out of touch with the will of the US people that he thinks "everyone" would say blow it up?

    (Speculative)
Or is it just a stand in for his political opposition? A strawman with a foolish idea, easily swatted away? The sort of intellectual construct that the foolish amongst his supporters latch on to, convince themselves actually represents, not just a person but a large segment of persons, and use to personify "the opposition" so they feel smart?

    *patent pending

"Risk encounter" makes utterly no sense to me. I can try to infer what you mean but that carries a host of problems. I assure you I have no other motive other than to find your meaning.

I agree that time and care are exactly whats called for here.

yeh, Olgino tries to sell this propaganda pitch over and over again, but it fails miserably every time, any statistic (Turkish economy) works a lie - detector in this case. the economy which went down the drain was yours, Muscovian one, directly after Crimea occupation . still if you point is that the sanctions on your balalaikas export to USA will the drain American economy, you are totally wrong

It's in your link at :40 mark in the video.

I'll tell you what I think is going on here. Trump and Putin are playing Good Cop-Bad Cop with one another.

In other words, while Trump and Putin exchange friendly gestures, their military leaders play hardball with one another.

the only thing you can place on a previous president is the economy, as economic changes don't shift on a day, but over years.
