The Black Sea is practically a Russian lake. Russia would be derelict, if they ignored one of our Navy ships prowling around in it.

I said "practically." Of course Turkey owns part of it. So tell us why Russia should ignore an American Navy ship prowling there. While our rightwing media wails whenever a Russian ship is way off our coast.

 

The Black Sea is off the coast of Russia. Why wouldn't Russian jets buzz US warships there? Russian bombers flew over our carriers during the Vietnam War.

 

Some people are beyond hope. They get their panties in a twist over silly stuff like this. They seem to be clueless that Russian warplanes fly over the US all the time. And on top of that, they use our military bases to do it. How they have sense enough to drink water is a mystery.

I haven't seen so much hysteria since yesterday. This is a complete non-issue. Russian spy planes fly over the US out of Travis AFB. It's not a big deal when they fly over our fully loaded military ships in international waters. We fly over Russia.

I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy. The problem with it, is that it has no basis in reality. The FBI has found nothing... the press, despite their dogged pursuit, has printed nothing but wild conjecture.
