There are no facts...There is no proof...only baseless stories regurgitated by Al Frankenstein. If you have proof..please post it...You will be the first in America to do so.

For someone of the American conservative "persuasion" to be trying to sell this garbage...is almost worth the price of admission.

The "problem" with this country right now...is not coming from the left or center, RPA...it is coming from the nut cases on the right. The screwballs who think they have the answers to questions they don't even understand.

But...the voters have spoken...and you guys are in charge from top to bottom. You have 33 Republican governors to only 16 Democrats (1 Independent). Republicans control 68 of 98 partisan legislative chambers. Republicans control the House of Representatives; the Senate; and the Presidency. The composition of the Supreme Court will almost certainly favor teh Republican agenda.

    So...

...we'll just see how things are in a few years. We'll see if things are better or worse; if the situation in the world is for the better or worse; if the employment picture is better or worse; if the tax picture is better or worse; if the national debt is higher or lower; if the coverage of people for medical care is better or worse.

    We'll see.

MY GUESS: We are going to be in a shambles. My guess is that the Republicans will screw things up royally.

I hope I am wrong. I hope I have to eat these words. I hope I look like a fool in four years for having thought what I am thinking right now.

    We'll see.

Your comment has nothing to do with how the popular vote Works who voted in what city has nothing to do with it it's just a cumulative number

American Presidential elections have nothing to do with the popular vote. Did you know that Americans don't even vote for a candidate...? When a Presidential vote is cast it is for the ELECTOR that supports either candidate. The candidate with the most electors wins. Sometimes it coincides with the popular vote sometimes it does not. 2000 was a good example. The Democrats were crying then and tried to throw the election by counting 'chads.'

This was nearly exactly the feeling from the Right, 4 & 8 years ago.

You're not wrong to stand on that, as the Right did. The result is what you see today.

    Thanks for your comment...BUT...

...the Democratic Party never had control like the Republican Party does right now.

    Not even close.

The Republicans have the whole ball of wax.

Let's see what they do with it.

I say they go nowhere! They are a hapless group...much better at moaning and groaning about what the left is doing wrong...than actually doing anything themselves.

Calling my post 'garbage' is a classless, feckless and false rebuttal.

Well, the 'screwballs' from the left thought they had answers for the past 8 years as they totally screwed We The People. Thank God Trump rolled back Obama's stupid EOs.

Yes....So far, working folks 401Ks are accruing more $$$$$ than ever....And it's only been a few months.

Although I disagree with you, I applaud loyal opposition...That's what America is all about. What I don't agree with are the non-policy witch hunts that the more radical leftists seem to be involved in today.

    You're not wrong.

Far swing one way.... Without uniting & ushering in Utopia, sees the far swing the opposite direction.

I say WE get nowhere, continuing down the Primrose Partisan Path to Oblivion.

Partisans are a hapless group. Much better @ dividing, through buzzwords & manufactured strife, rather than putting all that aside, & just having some common sense.

As a millennial Progressive/leftist myself, I am thrilled that Trump won (and I think most under 40 leftists are as well).

    Here is why:

-The Left will be reborn into a harder, more progressive left in the end.

-Those on the left (I don't truly believe they are in fact leftists) who are actually upset that Hillary lost are old white women who believed that by keeping their mouth shut, by screwing over as many true leftists as possible, they would somehow magically ascend to the presidency eventually and feel "robbed" by Trump's victory. These are the olden guard of the Democratic Establishment who were never actually truly Progressive but merely used the left for their own selfish "White Professional Female Agenda" which was really simply about them and had nothing to do with helping workers, young people or social programs. Good riddance. They are now going to be cleaved from the Left and it's high time they were. *Spits on them*

-More will be accomplished on the Progressive Left in the next 4 years under Trump than in the last 20 and that is truly something to be excited about.

-Trump is a NYC Populist then a conservative, if at all. Sure, he is going to let the flavor of the day conservative nutjobs enact their policies but he knows full well whatever they do won't be part of the future of this country regardless because he knows the sphere of demographic conservatism as a whole is on a permanent decline, hence his populist stance.

-The Left as most American's know it is in a state of collapse (and this is a great thing for us Leftists under 40). The old angry white and black women who have run the American Left into the ground are dying en-mass every single day and are being replaced by young and middle aged Democrats who are far more Progressive and true to actual ideological leftism and are not lukewarm leftists who just want a corner office like most olden guard Democratic scum.

I didn't say your post (thread, actually) is garbage. I indicated that the thought contained in that referenced sentence is garbage.

It is. I wish you could see it as garbage.

You are entitled to think that...we still are a free country at the moment.

But I am much better off now than I was when Barack Obama took office 8 years ago...and damn near everyone I know is also.

Ah...Trump in office for 6 weeks...and working miracles.

I suspect that kind of thinking is faulty. But we will see how things go in the years ahead.

I imagine lots of it has to do with payback for the unreasoned crap that has gone on for the last 8 years.

But it should settle down as the Republicans start to show that they can actually lead the country to peace and prosperity; get rid of Obamacare and replace it with something that works better and is cheaper; and reduce taxes while at the same time decreasing the national debt.

Everyone will fall into line when that starts to happen.

These people are so dishonest, so brainwashed, they will just blame liberals. Just like Trump takes credit for things that have nothing to do with him (like the budget, which is still Obamas budget) and blames others for what his solely his, the botched Yemen raid.

They have already shown they are the biggest hypocrites of them all, they totally threw away their so called "morals" to support Trump in the first place, and totally threw away any credibility (what little was left) when they (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ed and moan about all things Obama and have dismissed every bit of horrendous thing Trump has done.

Anyway, these people may think they have "won" but never again, unless of course republicans suppress the vote some more. Because people have awoken, and you are only about 25% of the country and most people realize Trump is a nightmare. And plus, they own it now. No blaming others, something they seem to only know how to do

were not asking for many many investigations like republicans did for Clinton, were just asking for an investigation, nothing wrong with that

what is wrong with republicans not wanting to investigate this?

most voters voted for Hillary, so it was not a TOTAL rejection - lol

ironically the only reason Trump won is so many thought he could never win and did not bother to vote

Not really....It proves that voters in LA and NY don't like Trump. They do not represent geographical America. Your 'popular vote' mantra is just wrong.

Investigate what? A news story? Where is the proof needed to open such an investigation...Al Frankenstein?

    Oh come on Frank...

An economy skidding along the bottom, a failed health care program, more racial division than ever....Yeah a real success.

The Stock Market disagrees with you but, I agree...we will see how things go.

The radical element in the Democratic party is working to stop Trump. It's really amazing he is doing as well as he is.

If government experience meant anything, we'd be living in Utopia. America is a colossal glittering mess.

What we are seeing play out with the democrats who are in chaos, and irrelevant, parts of the deep state and MSM, and their war against trump is open borders free trade globalism, which is entrenched, waging a war against America first economic nationalism. Waging a war against moving back to what our Founders set up, which is what won us ww2, and made us an economic powerhouse. Open borders free trade globalism didn't make America great nor did it create history's largest middle class. It does create large middle classes, it creates greater disparity in income, as it is designed to do.

That the democratic party embraces open border free trade, can only happen when they do not represent or stand up for most of the people in America.
And that right there is their problem, which they do not seem interested in solving, so as to become relevant again. This party must be purged of corporate and banking politicians who will only represent the professional class, and the upper class, or Cliinton/Obama democrats.

I am not surprised. Their strategy is a death of a thousand cuts. They will never shut up. The problem is the rest of the country knows what they are up to and are sick of it. I think they will realize this when they lose even more seats in the next election.

Well, you can keep denying reality all you want I guess...Trump is President because he won the most EC votes. Popular vote 'doesn't mean diddly'....

Isolated to a few large counties. NOT nation wide by any definition you wish to use. You understand what intellectual dishonesty is?

your comment is irrelevant. numbers of counties won means nothing.
