Mr. Comey deserves all the flack he gets. Remember the pissgate dossier produced by MI6 agent Christopher Steele? It was supposed to have been funded by pro-Clinton forces. Turns out that Mr. Steele was also on the payroll of the FBI. So what we have is the FBI and associates of the Clinton campaign both paying Mr. Steele to investigate the Republican nominee, raising questions about the FBI's independence from politics and President Obama's use of law enforcement for political ends. The smell is getting worse.

I enjoy seeing several sides of issues. I'll keep reading her.

Frankly. if this Russian stuff is all smoke and mirrors, that's good for the US and I'd be fine with it. I'm not so sure it is though. We'll see sooner or later.

Where is Mr. Steel these days anyway? lol, hiding out because his name was exposed, most likely. That document was ridiculous. At one point the author actually seems to be disappointed Trump isn't taking Russian bribes.

I'm positive that the dossier started out from a Republican. I'm not as sure about which one, but I recall reading something about Jeb's PAC paying him originally. Then once Jeb was out of it, the democrats picked it up.

Steele is highly respected. The dossier may not be complete or accurate. I'm surely not saying it is. However, Steele's reputation is strong in the intelligence community, and that has nothing to do with politics.

Comey is a rare one, but he is absolutely loyal to the FBI. I don't agree with things he's done, but of his loyalty to the FBI, I have no doubt.

    Edit- I found it..

I hope so. I want tax cuts badly. I think Trump could be an excellent President. Much remains to be seen.

Steel was working for a democratic organization as a PI. That's where it came from. Pretty sure this is well known.

But he's not like everyone else. He's the President of the United States of America and leader of the free world. He needs to hit some golf balls or something, but stay off Twitter.

The POTUS should only use Twitter for official business relating to public policy.

And only tweet from the Official POTUS account.

Trump's use of Twitter has made the USA the laughing stock of the world.

Yeah, but that's not really the point. It isn't good for the country… the one he leads.

...and yes, I think lots about this stuff stinks. I'm not happy about Russia and not happy about all the divisiveness in the country. I want my government to work in the best interest of the people of the US.

You are completely changing the direction of my post. I am inquiring on the appropriateness of the FBI joining the Clinton forces in an investigation of the Republican candidate for President. Why didn't the FBI end it when they couldn't verify it? Did President Obama approve of this use of the FBI funds?

It would have been funny as hell if Obama did that.

Except the rest of us lose while you guys violate the Fourth Amendment and for some reason believe it all "cancels out."

I don't want the state to have that much power. That's why I hate Obama and dislike Trump.

Which is a lesson that needs to be learned with practice since its been ignored in principle.

The lawless reign of Obama set so many precedents that are dangerous to the entire foundation of America.

I tried to warn Leftists for the past 8 years that if the next Republican President uses Obama's reign as a template then we could lose this country to tyranny.

They didn't give a damn because the results favored their agenda and so now I think they need a lesson in the reverse just so the point will sink in.

Wait a minute.... What if the Media accuses as it has done with President Trump? In America today if the accused is Republican and the accuser is the Media the burden seems on the accused.
Now if the accuser is a conservative, the Media reverts back to the traditional system where the burden is on the accuser.
With the Media and the left, it seems they win both ways. This will change once America is Great Again!
